HEALTHKIT INTEGRATION
Run 5K integrates nicely with HealthKit, meaning that all your workout data will be available for you inside Run 5K and the Apple Health App. On top of that, all the races you save using Run 5K will contribute to filling the Activity rings on your Apple Watch. Isn't that cool?
I’m only on the third workout and I’ve paid paid the €3.99 for the full program. The workouts are ok but it’s impossible to know what you’re doing until you’re on the run. Like they let you know the distance you’ll run but not how many intervals. This is good and bad I suppose but I definitely find myself looking at my watch more often than I would if I knew the intervals beforehand. They also force you to take 12 hours rest after a run which is good.
Another downside is you have like 96 hours to do a run or else you’ll have to start the program over again. Also you can’t repeat workouts so I'm not sure how I'm feeling about this
Great app - would love more features
This is a great app, so easy to use and doesn’t over complicate the goal - running 5k!
I just wish I knew how the plan worked e.g. am I running for 2 minutes and walking 1 minute etc. It just tells you when to run and when to walk but I don’t really know how much I’ve ran during each session.
I would also love if it measured active calories on my apple watch but other than that it is really helping me achieve my goal!

This is actually getting me out running and the reverse psychology of having to wait between runs to have rest days means that instead of it feeling like a chore to go out running, I’m watching the countdown and when I can go again it’s like, ‘Finally!’ 😅
