DiDi: Ride Hailing in China

In my opinion one can only judge a service when something happens. Well one driver tried to cheat on highway charge and by driving a slightly longer road with more traffic even thou the app was suggesting to choose another route several times because of an accident along the way. I contacted the customer service via the app chat, they answered immediately, checked my claim, called me back, the guy who called me was speaking perfect English, they apologized, corrected the highway fare and even reimbursed me of part of the journey fare. Beyond the amazing customer service I also have to say that the app works really well, even translate the messages you write in English to Chinese before sending to the driver. 6 stars.

for some reason app forces incorrect spacing in italian phone number. last digit is missing. 😩

I tried several times to add my mobile phone and create an account but unfortunately your app limit the length number of the mobile and for only one digit I can complete the registration

Some problems about understanding, drivers speak only Chinese. They call everytime are arrived without check messages sended (standard available on the app in english to Chinese for drivers). For me is a valid app. Big problem #1: is not clear how cancel a reservation. I find a taxi but he wrote me to wait more then 7 minutes. So when i find a taxi in the street I Think to have cancelled the reservation but now I have a request to pay. #2 some times the drives accept my request but after 30/40 seconds I find a window with a message “trip completed” and I need to book again.

Italian numbers are made by a code of 3 numbers (ie:348) plus 7 numbers (6 the oldest numbers). The app accepts only 6 numbers and not 7. Thus most Italian numbers will not work.

ITALIA telephone mask for registration is wrong, our numbers are smaller than the provided space. For example +39 3XX 1234567 At the moment is not possible to use it.

I called a didi and it was miles away from where I was. I canceled. Didn’t have to pay. I get on a taxi and another didi calls me telling me he’s arrived! And it made me pay for the cancellation!! Disgraceful

No sign of the English version, no way to switch language at all!! Please write a review if you find out how to do it

Please try to add also Italian mobile phones to your updated app. I travel often to China and I'd love to use your service. Thank you in advance.

In the update information was written that now the app has also English language, but it is not true!!
