I recently purchased a Netflix subscription through the Apple Store, expecting a seamless experience. However, upon opening Netflix, I was unable to use my subscription because they required me to subscribe directly through them. After contacting Netflix support, I was informed that they do not accept purchases made through the Apple Store and was advised to request a refund from Apple. Frustrated, I contacted Apple Store support to get my refund and to understand why they are allowing Netflix subscriptions to be sold if they are not accepted. Shockingly, the Apple employee had no answer and absurdly suggested that I ask Netflix why they don't accept Apple Store purchases. This situation is incredibly frustrating and feels like a deceptive practice. Apple should not be selling subscriptions that aren't honored by the service provider. This not only wastes customers' time but also ties up their money. I hope Apple addresses this issue promptly to prevent others from experiencing the same inconvenience.
