Simply the best markdown notes app

Noah 0123 on

Israel

I’ve tried most markdown apps and Bear is simply the best. It’s the only one I use nowadays. It’s my “Go To” for making notes.

Great app but…

Really love the app, too bad that there is no support for family sharing if the subscription. + there is no support for math formats (Tex/LaTex)

One of the best overall and absolutely must have app

Especially, if you're also in Apple's ecosystem. Its usable even free, but subscription gives valuable outcome for such a low price. I just found that i am unsubscribed for a while, probably while switched cards for payment i disabled all auto-renewable apps and services, cause i had trouble removing one card from payment methods. It was solved but bear 🐨 quietly was around hungry! I am really sorry and promise to feed him properly! Actually iPhone, 2 iPads, new shiny MBA 16/512, and soon mac mini or (unlikely) iMac, unlikely cause i invested in pair of top notch dell monitors, “27 and “32, true 4K of course, with built-in hubs and routers, not some gaming curved stuff (x-b sx with “88 4K eARC/HDMI 2.1 tv is how i like to play, i really fail logically understand what for i need quite big, noisy and extremely expensive for what it is machine, with OS i haven't touched many years... I can afford it, but WHY?! I switched my parents to iOS finally a month ago, now they are past first “aclimatisation” days, and happy for real. Dad even wants watch ⌚️ as well :) He cant use mac on the company's (lol, the one doing x-b concurrent consoles among “a few” other things) laptop obviously, but after getting and installing mini for myself, i want to give him MBA for a few weeks, his main apps is ms office , components, teams, outlook, excel... So even though i don't use it, i know that in past years it became pure joy on mac. With iPad wirelessly connected as a monitor and tools like Bear making so much sense inside ecosystem, i hope to see new MBA or mini replacing his old chncky home PC.

Really LOVE that app!

In love with that app. Slick look and feel, well organized and helps me a lot managing my work and meeting notes and of course my personal life too. Such simple and powerful.

Still waiting for rtl support

Waiting for right to left support for Hebrew notes.

Good app with some big drawbacks

/den on

Israel

Overall the app is good, but the are some big drawbacks: 1 - Extremely limited Safari extension which is completely useless. So if you want to capture some content this is definitely not an app for you. 2 - Themes are just weird, there is no a single theme that I can really call beautiful. 3 - Tags management is weird as well, like you can use tags everywhere, but I would prefer a dedicated field as well with proper tags completion. 4 - Shortcuts support just is not good enough for 2020. Why every action still opens the app. Why not doing the stuff in the background like most of good productivity apps do? 5 - It’s been a long time since some significant update so it’s just not clear if developers will ever tackle those issues.

Wish you were fixing it!

Bear is absolutely amazing app, the only reason I stopped working with this app is because I write in two languages and bear is not supporting writing from right to left. Hope you will fix this problem !

Why there isn’t a way to crop photo I just take? A regular way to work with such app like one note

It’s a great app

I enjoyed working with this app. So simple but so good and easy. The ONLY thing that is missing in this app is writing in languages that are written in right-to-left. But still a great app. (Btw sorry about my bad grammar •~•).
