Your BMW motorbike does not have a TFT display, but it does have a multicontroller and is equipped for a navigation system? Then simply get the ConnectedRide Cradle and transform your smartphone into a motorcycle display.
Whether you select the "Winding" or "Fast" option, thanks to voice commands to your communication system and navigation instructions that are easy to see on the display, you can always keep an eye on your route. The intuitive operation with the multicontroller allows you to safely control everything without having to take your hands off the handlebars.

Notes for use.
• This app is part of BMW Motorrad Connectivity and can only be used when connected to a vehicle with a TFT display or the ConnectedRide Cradle. The connection is established wirelessly between a smartphone, the vehicle/Cradle and – if available – a communication system via Bluetooth; the app is operated using the multicontroller on the handlebars. We recommend using the BMW Motorrad communication system for listening to music, making telephone calls and receiving navigation instructions.
• A mobile Internet connection is required to access traffic information. This may incur costs in line with the contract between the customer and their mobile provider (e.g. for roaming).
• Please note that the functionality of your smartphone and the connection to the vehicle also depend on national requirements and factors; BMW Motorrad therefore cannot guarantee that it will be available at all times.
• The BMW Motorrad Connected app will be displayed in the language you have set for your smartphone. Please note that not all languages are supported.
• Continued use of GPS tracking in the background may reduce the battery life of your smartphone.

Good overall some issues
I love the app but I cannot download the maps since the application only sees 4Gib available… I actually have 65Gib :D when this is fixed it would be great !!
Pffff
Mijn navigator V wil aan geen kanten van mijn iphone weten. Is nu 3 e gsm dat ik probeer maar raak niet verbonden ook al een samsung geprobeerd jammer Heb alles maar kan het niet gebruiken

App moet op de achtergrond kunnen werken !!!
Was great … sucks since iOS17
Really great app for tracking rides and e.g. keeping an eye on upcoming maintenance. However, since iOS 17 not a single ride gets tracked anymore. Even mileage status doesn’t update. It updates when bike is connected, next time you open the app it shows data from before iOS17 update.
Trip registration stopped working after 5.1.0
Own more than a year now an 1250RT. It all worked fine without any great issues. But since 5.1.0 the trip registration does not work anymore. I reset and reinstalled everything but still no use. I tried it for 2 days and several trips and only 1 trip got registered. Strange because everything else works fine (navigation with maps, phone, helmet). Tried with support but after several weeks still no response. 2 tickets and no answers. Sad for a 30000€ bike.
great app !!!
i really like the app and the integration with the bike R1250RT the one thing i would really like to be added with an update are speed camera warnings!!! please please make it perfect!

Énormément de bugs ! Perte d’itinéraire , de gps. Et plus d’importation gpx. Par pitié , arrêtez d’essayer de développer , et confier cela à du CarPlay , du vrai.
Connectie en herberekening route
Nog dikwijls na bvb tankbeurt geen kaart op display: app niet aktief… Stoppen en heropstarten enige optie? Bij afwijken van de route voor een koffie onderweg navigeert de app naar het beginpunt ipv korste weg naar de route. Opnieuw opstarten van de locatie werkt wel maar is omslachtig, zeker als de smartphone in het opbergvak van mijn K1600GT is aangesloten… Is hier een update voorzien aub? Tks en Grts
Extra features
After reading some extra reviews wanted to add the following: - Contrast with route overlay (or other route colour for active route) - An option to disable pronouncing street names - Option to not recalculate when riding a gpx route. +1 for these 3 in the feature request
