Very painful to use the app. It will record sometimes and sometimes it will record for 1km and stop recording rides. It connects everytime with the bike but doesn’t record trips. Hasn’t recorded a ride for two weeks although connected. Very frustrating.
I have no issue with the app using it in 3 different bikes. My issue is purely with the ride export function that only export the gpx map of your ride. I would like for it to export all the other captured data that is available in the app like lean angle, speed, throttle control… this to be exported in a separate file to the gpx file. There are so many apps that can use that info over a video as inlays. My bmw app is 1,6gb in size on my phone. The data can be replayed so kets have a button to export the good info of your ride please
Every time I want to speak to another rider directly, the Navigation disconnects and I have to stop to reconnect it. CHANGE THE SETTINGS so you can reconnect while riding. How have you not figured this out ? 2 days later, it still shows RIDE IN PROGRESS - oy vay
Probably the best motor app I have ever used. Accurate meaningful data. Experienced 0 glitches. Well done BMW 💪
BMW needs to keep up with the indusrty. Apple CarPlay works well on competitor bikes!
Once I have used my Bluetooth headsets intercom to communicate with other riders in the group, the app stops recording my trip, I loose the ability to make or receive phone calls and to use my app navigation, as well as sometimes the ability to play music. I have to restart the app as well as the bike to get all of the functions working again. That is, until someone in the group makes contact with me again on the intercom........
Great when it works, but if the TFT loses connectivity with the app (seemingly whenever the app goes into the background or is not kept doing something like playing music). This is a major pain if you were going to rely on it for navigation... fix, please!
