Your BMW motorbike does not have a TFT display, but it does have a multicontroller and is equipped for a navigation system? Then simply get the ConnectedRide Cradle and transform your smartphone into a motorcycle display.
Whether you select the "Winding" or "Fast" option, thanks to voice commands to your communication system and navigation instructions that are easy to see on the display, you can always keep an eye on your route. The intuitive operation with the multicontroller allows you to safely control everything without having to take your hands off the handlebars.

Notes for use.
• This app is part of BMW Motorrad Connectivity and can only be used when connected to a vehicle with a TFT display or the ConnectedRide Cradle. The connection is established wirelessly between a smartphone, the vehicle/Cradle and – if available – a communication system via Bluetooth; the app is operated using the multicontroller on the handlebars. We recommend using the BMW Motorrad communication system for listening to music, making telephone calls and receiving navigation instructions.
• A mobile Internet connection is required to access traffic information. This may incur costs in line with the contract between the customer and their mobile provider (e.g. for roaming).
• Please note that the functionality of your smartphone and the connection to the vehicle also depend on national requirements and factors; BMW Motorrad therefore cannot guarantee that it will be available at all times.
• The BMW Motorrad Connected app will be displayed in the language you have set for your smartphone. Please note that not all languages are supported.

Latest map update breaks the app completely.
I have been a big fan of this app since it launched. It was my main option for navigating on my bike trips and I have clocked over 20k kms. happily using it without so much as a hiccup.
I recently updated the maps and that completely broke the functionality of the app for me. I use the app in India and after the latest maps update, around half the maps in India (including the area where I live) are now stuck in some kind of update limbo. They disappeared from the download maps section but no matter how many time you try, they will not complete the update and are stuck in the map updates section. This means the when you try using a map on the bike, you get an error message saying you do not have the map installed.
I do not know if this is a widespread issue but I have tried completely deleting and reinstalling the app on multiple phones and it just doesn’t work.
Another example of a company updating an app that was working perfectly to begin with in the name of “improvements” and completely torching the functionality.
I am sure the new maps are an improvement over the old ones but what good is that if you can never use them?
I guess it’s back to either Google maps (doesn’t work properly without a data connection) or my old Garmin sat nav (India maps have not been updated once in the last decade).

Add support for G310 series
I just bought my new motorcycle and it’ can’t paired with this app. Add support for it!
Google map integration
Google map integration is still not done and latest version seems to have issues with trip logging and frequent disconnection from the bike :(
Even contacts sync speed needs improvement.

The app great but Sms should come up with the app which can be use for all the bike bmw g310r n gs bs4 or bs6 can’t be connected to the app

If the app can be connected to all bike then the app will be Soo great thank
Needs a lot of improvements
This is far from perfection. My navigation gets cut when a call comes. Destination flag pops up where the call is attended. Rest of the journey is not tracked.
Lot of POI are not found, present version is stuck on city or known places. Needs a synch option with Google maps. Or atleast a reliable and easier way to search and find places.
If the above points are sorted, mounting a navigation on handle bar is no more required.

2. Record top speed and elevation
2. Ability to share tour reports.
3. Should be able to detect color of the bike for display on the app
