Breeze: Start Self-Discovery

I recently clicked on a quiz in Instagram only to find out later that I'd been signed up to a subscription. Besenjiapps ( aka Breeze ) methods are bordering on devious and clearly not transparent. They are in contradiction to consumer laws in Australia which I subsequently pointed out to them on several occasions. Once the App is downloaded your subscription starts. As soon as I saw funds being removed from my account I cancelled the subscription and wrote to the company asking for a refund. They did refund 50% but refused a full refund. They insisted I agreed to a subscription which I did not. It's an inadvertent sign up where they get your bank details for $1 to see quiz answers. Apparently there is a pop up that tells you that you are agreeing to a subscription which I don't recall seeing otherwise I never would have proceeded. As a company representing itself as mental health support it is disappointing how unethical their practice is.

Lures you in with tests. You think you’re paying for a one off, then charges you ongoing and you have no way to cancel. Time to start a class action lawsuit. Have already wasted 3 hours of my time trying to figure out how to stop the “subscription” and report this company. And my time is VERY expensive. Am screen recording my entire journey and will be creating a website dedicated to this app and how absolutely fraudulent.

Be careful, don't fall to 1 dollar trial. I still got charged for 48 AUD! Suddenly out of nowhere, after I make sure I was unsubscribing that feature. Once I was unsubscribing this, they also cancelled a week trial and still charged me after a week pass for a year!

I approved the initial purchase to see what my score was, and immediately canceled my subscription to avoid a $50 surcharge to my account. I did not receive any confirmation of my cancellation until they charged me $50. And now when asking for a refund, I’m being told there’s no evidence of me trying to cancel, and if I did, I need to provide evidence. I’m questioning a lot of their integrity.

Additionally, the subscription details should be prominently shared during the signup process to avoid misunderstandings. 2. More Empathetic and Action-Oriented Responses: Responses like “After carefully looking into your request, I truly wish I could offer a different outcome. Sadly, our Subscription Terms prevent us from processing a refund at this time” feel formulaic and lack genuine effort to address the customer’s concerns. They also convey rigidity, which can escalate frustration. Adopting a more solution-focused approach, such as exploring partial refunds or alternative resolutions, would demonstrate goodwill and reduce dissatisfaction. 3. Simpler and Integrated Cancellation Process: The lack of integration with platforms like Google Play for managing subscriptions adds unnecessary complexity for customers. A seamless integration with subscription platforms or a self-service cancellation option would improve customer experience. 4. Proactive Refund Policy: Refusing refunds for unused services, especially when customers have documented good-faith attempts to cancel, creates dissatisfaction. Revisiting your refund policy to allow flexibility in such cases would enhance customer trust and loyalty. 5. Streamlined Communication Channels: The time-consuming back-and-forth required to resolve simple issues like cancellations makes the process frustrating. A live chat option or an intuitive self-service portal could make the process more efficient and user-friendly. Addressing these areas would go a long way toward improving the experience for your customers. I hope you consider this feedback as you work to refine your processes. almost all the test are behind a paywall. i downloaded this because of an ad advertising the tests although im not willing to pay for them
