Work on my iPhone. But keeps turning off on my iPad the other app worked a lot better. 😡😡

Worked well until the new version was released now it’s just a blue screen when opening the app Uninstalling and reinstalling the app dnt make any diffrence Now I have to go to a browser website to see my meter readings Shame as it was a decent app

Doesn’t work fully

Have had the app for years the usage element has never worked for long periods of time the latest example stopped working in April 2024 and doesn’t work to this day July 2024. Have raised the issue get told it will be fixed in a few days been told a ticket has been raised nothing, this is the 3 rd time in as many years this element of the app has failed, yet here’s the interesting thing I have the Ivie app a third party that can look at your smart meter data and guess what that works something is very wrong with the app and the people you speak to, when it fails they have no idea or to get rid of you tell untruths this is both for the phone and chat service, I have recently made a complaint to see if anything happens here that has a 21 day response so I await with bated breath.

Since then has refused to open. Starts the face recognition and that crashes the lot. Even the old app which was middle of the road, worked most of the time.

No logon screen

I get the same issue as another user has reported. Latest version 2.1 still does it. Shows the app banner but not logon request. After a while logon request pops up but when I touch iPad button to logon the app just closes. This seems to happen after I have opened the app successfully a previous time. It seems like it is not cleaning up after previous use. The way to reproduce this error is as follows: 1. Use app as normal on ipad 2. Double click the home button to highlight the open apps 3. Close down the BG app by upswiping it. 4. Attempt to open again and you just get the blue splash screen. 5. Click the home screen and the touch logon window opens up with the blue screen minimised 6. Click the home button - no logon 7. Select the BG app from the bottom bar- still shows blue splash screen. Stuck is this endless loop. For recovery turn ipad off and on.

Didn’t like this app when first launched but after many updates I’m warming to it. One thing that does seem odd is having to access home services elsewhere. There is a home services part to the app, will this part be brought in or will we always have to go outside for that aspect ?

Since the switch across to the new app l haven’t been able to see Gas useage. Only electricity information is there. I have contacted them loads of times and they are aware of the issue with ‘some customers’ and are ‘working to resolve.’ I have had the app probably 12 months now so l am not sure how hard they are working

Always used to be able to see my daily gas usage but now only shows electricity

I have not been able to view my energy usage for months. My smart meter is working fine and I can see on the app that meter readings have been submitted daily, but the app hasn’t shown my daily energy usage since August last year, which is frustrating as I now have an electric car and it would be useful to see what I am spending when I charge me car off-peak. I have contacted customer services who were unable to help. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but hasn’t made any difference. There’s not really any point in having the app if you’re unable to monitor you energy usage/spend.
