I've never had a daw crash so frequently. How did this get out of beta? Trying to record AUM into it is a nightmare. Can't download Roomworks as the whole program crashes. Roli Noise often freezes it. I would have just bought Cubasis 2 as it appeared to be more stable, but it would have a separate purchase. I've used different versions of Cubase on Mac and PC over the years and using this app reminds me why I've switched to Ableton and Reaper. Disappointed in a half-hearted effort that could have been a really excellent way to make music. It has potential, but as it is, it is almost unusable unless you don't mind constantly dealing with technical problems while trying to create.

I love how I can sketch an idea on my phone or iPad and easily transfer my idea to my home computer and fully develop it on Cubase.

With Cubasis 3.7 iOS, iPhone, and iPad have the best DAW there is. Sound wise it has everything you could ask for, from instruments to drums to synths with HALion, Neo FM, FM Classics, and now Iconica Sketch. Time signature and tempo tracks have made this on par with Logic. The user interface is the best in the business, the UI is beautiful, and the UX is seamless. With the upcoming updates, I hope to see Groove Agent and PDC (plugin delay compensation), but as it stands, Cubasis is now the king of iOS DAWs. Keep it up Steinberg, you have a dedicated customer for life.

Easily the Tippy-Top -Tier of Digital / Audio-Studio ,recording on I-Pad.
These developers have repeatedly strived to upgrade and haven’t disappointed.
With the recent update including 3 new expertly sampled synths , I kicked myself for buying libraries of expensive synth apps …
All for specific sounds to be more authentic . The new synths built into Cubasis 3 , hit a higher level of quality ,..drastically lessening the need to connect via, In app audio , or external Audio ,units.
The drums are authentic and can be used as midi ,audio samples ,..the list of functionality just keeps growing…
This is one that I’d keep and use over all the others.
Lost 3 days of work
This app always has a problem. I recently opened a project and 90% of the wave data suddenly disappeared. Two days of work vanished. It auto saves so you can’t really control the backup situation. I always have problems with it. I have the newest iPad that works well with EVERYTHING else. So it’s not the hardware. Buyer beware! This app is trash!
