Great app, the literary examples are a great addition to a language dictionary and it’s generally very intuitive to use. The search itself is usually fast, but can be a little slow at times, it doesn’t seem to always remember that it has downloaded libraries, and sometimes the downloaded libraries disappear and need to be re downloaded.
Ignores device font settings. I can find no app setting for font size. There seems to be no consideration of accessibility needs by the developers. If I have missed something do please let me know!
J’utilise cette application depuis des années pour traduire du français en anglais, j’ai sauvegardé beaucoup de mots traduits. Le seul problème c’est que des fois que je fais des mises à jour de mon iPhone, Je perds tous les mots que j’avais sauvegardé. Ce qui est dommage parce que ce sont des mots que je connais pas forcément donc j’ai perdu une partie de ma vocabulaire. mais c’est pas grave, parce que je continue à faire des listes des mots que je connais pas.
After looking up 3-4 words it starts to get laggier and laggier until it just completely crashes. Just leaving the app doesn’t fix it; you have to actually quit it fully in order to get it to start working again. Good job having to quickly look up multiple words is not a situation that happens often in every day life! It’s been like this for years so I doubt there’s any chance of them ever fixing it.
Plz update a dark mode version

I wasn’t sure how well the idea of mixing the two languages together would work but it does. And the examples of usage are a great aid to better understanding the range and subtleties of the word/phrase in question. Well done AI I guess!
Omg fix the bug, it’s so annoying and really stands in the way of this being a great app.
The app lags a lot. Translations are good but it freezes often, basically every time.
Linguee is so useful for looking up words as multiple translations and examples are shown, and the UI is clean and simple. I use it almost daily for looking up German words. Unfortunately it seems that the app has been in maintenance mode for a while as it can be buggy. When switching to the app from multitasking, it often freezes. Most of the times I use it, I have to completely quit the app and open again. Nonetheless thank you for a brilliant and indispensable app
