Not usable for academic use
This app is very poorly designed.
- no possibility to choose the format of the citation when copied out of the app.
- the formatting when copied out loses a significant amount of information. E.g. when I cite an edited volume, the editor appears as an author (!). E.g. translator’s name of an edited volume does not appear in the citation.
- import options are inexistent or useless. There is no good way to import data directly on this app, I have to add my books one by one. This is absurd.
In summary: writing down all my references into a docx file one by one is both more precise and less time-consuming than using this app.
Not working on my iphone 6s
Whenever I try syncing my library, the following error message pops-up: Endnote could not make HTTP request. I hope this issue gets solved soon.
Should be (much) better
I have been using endnote on my computer for 6 months and, while I enjoy its functionalities, it has proven very unstable.
This iPad version is even worse. It is awfully slow, and any action usually takes minutes to be completed (yes, minutes). I do have a lot of papers, but I expect this app to be able to handle whatever size for a library. It doesn't and I think it is a shame.

On ne peut pas coller directement une synthèse d'article sur le bloc "note" il faut le taper, c'est decevant.. Par exemple moi jai deja fais des fiches de lecture et je veux inserer le contenu dans le bloc note par copier/coller, c'est pas faisable y a pas l'option coller sur le bloc note.
Retour d'expérience
Après avoir utilisé l'application sur iPad et avoir eu un moment d'humeur à la première utilisation, je dois reconnaître que l'application fait bien son Job même si la synchronisation est un peu longue pour une base de données qui dépasse les 10 000 références. Je conseille d'activer l'option de synchronisation automatique : "en quittant EndNote".
La dernière mise à jour plante (chez moi) le soft qui n'est donc plus utilisable... en attendant un correctif

Bonne application sur l'iPad. Interface bien conçue et agréable. J'apprécie de pouvoir ouvrir plusieurs URL directement dans l'application. Je précise que je n'utilise pas Endnote sur ordinateur : prix trop élevé pour un non-professionnel. Je n'ai donc pas testé la synchronisation.
