I paid $10 for 10gb internet..followed the instructions and did not work at all!!! Then contacted the Bot chat to help and turns out it’s useless!! My phone is not locked and it’s bought from the USA the BOT only excuse is that probably my phone is manufactured or assembled in Asia (as most phones worldwide) and so Global Yo is not supporting phones assembled in Asia wow..
The actual SIMs are great. I have used in Brazil, Colombia, America etc. No issues. However the app is actually nuts, makes the company look so shady. If they just focused on making an app for buying sims, not some weird media app, it would be perfect.
Doesn’t work, poor setting up instructions.
Simply put - Superb Service !
Załatwiłem wszystko w 5m sygnał był doskonały nie było problemu z robieniem hotspota dla innych urządzeń. Tanio, szybko bez problemowo to czego potrzebujesz na wakacjach. W Turcji działa znakomicie 🫡
Global YO is the biggest SCAM. Do NOT use this company to purchase eSIMs when abroad. Will be telling everyone I know about how much of a scam you are and the terrible customer service — when something goes wrong you don’t care & accuse the customer when it’s not their fault. For context, I bought a 5GB eSIM to use whilst travelling. It activated and worked fine for the first day. Before going to bed the first night I checked and still had around 4.2GB remaining, perfect I thought, but no. In the morning I woke up and it said I had no data remaining. Strange as I had been connected to WiFi all night and the report they provided showed it all get used at 1am in the morning within 2-3 seconds. I contacted them and flagged this and said this looks like a bug / reporting issue on their side. They strongly denied this and instead accused me of just simply using the data (how does one use it all in a matter of seconds when asleep?). They said I may have had some background app refresh settings or WiFi assist settings turned on. I’m very techy, however I gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought a second new eSIM (at my own expense) and triple checked my settings before activating. Surprise surprise, the same thing happened again. This time it happened randomly in the morning whilst I was eating breakfast in my hotel. The hotel WiFi wasn’t working so disabled it temporarily to use my data and boom, 8.5GB gone in a second and the eSIM ceased to work. I’ve tried their live chat numerous times and they all accuse you of using the data (which is clearly impossible in both these scenarios). They then either disconnect the chat or say they’ll get back to you and don’t — the last advisor said they’d have a response for me in 20 mins and then disconnected the chat. I chatted them 5 hours later and there was no record of my original chat to them or a case number — hmmm very suspicious. All in all, despite some people saying that the app works I would avoid the risk and go with a more trusted supplier available on their App Store, of which there’s plenty. Global YO, if you even care to read this and feel like actually offering some kind of customer service and refunding me please get in touch. Although I highly highly doubt it as you’re all crooks.
I travel a lot . And often to places that wouldn’t be on peoples travel plans. The availability of an e-sim almost everywhere and anywhere , at such a reasonable cost is absolutely fantastic. And the ease of installation and the quality of service from this app is absolutely first class. I’ve used it everywhere , and I’ll continue to use this service. I can’t recommend highly enough!
So I was recommended it by a friend and the first time I used it in Thailand I had zero issues no down time most of the time it was 4G but I didn’t mind that BUT The second time of using it was in UAE Dubai and Abu Dhabi and wow what an absolute waste of time. It hardly works and when it does it’s 3G…. It’s like watching a constipated dog try and take a dump and again 3G hardly works your constantly putting it on airplane mode and then back on just to try and get a signal of some sort. With the options available now in the eSIM market I think global yo need to up the reliability as done this trip has killed me so will be using someone else
Iv purchased this eSIM to be able to use in Turkey and ever since it’s been purchased connection has been terrible and 2 weeks later Data connection has completely stopped. Contacted customer support and was told a 200 yoyo credit has been added to my account as an apology. I don’t even know what yoyo credit is. Piss take, I requested a refund and they told me it’s not possible because I already activated the eSIM. Their internet is so bad I couldn’t even send them complaint email and I had to use friends house wifi. Stay away from this company it’s terrible.
