I actually cancelled my NowTV to get Hayu because of their poor iPad app and it turns out the Hayu App is even worse. Sticky and constantly logs you out so you lose all downloads. When you are logged in it won’t load the app to access your downloads when not on wifi therefore making the download feature absolutely pointless for long wifi free journeys.
The app is very glitchy on the ipad. Constantly kicks off.
App is an absolute awful user experience I can’t even get through one episode without it crashing, the screen goes black and sound doubles over or says there’s an error, problems get even worse when you try watch something downloaded can’t even get through more then 2 minutes without the app crashing. If it wasn’t for the shows I would 100% not recommend this app it does not compare to any other streaming apps at all it’s so frustrating to use !
Fantastic content, absolutely awful app! Good luck emailing support, they will just blame your device and expect you to reinstall reboot close every app etc
I am sick of the app crashing, search function doesn’t work. Constantly having to restart the app, error messages and not being able to pick up watching where I left off. It’s a shame because I love the shows but it’s such a poorly put together app
iOS app is glitchy, app on the tv is rubbish. Invest in your tech and sort it out! NOT INTERESTED IN THE GENERIC DEVELOPER RESPONSE OFFERING TO CONTACT ME DIRECTLY. SORT YOUR TECH OUT!!!!!
The app is so glitchy, you always need to tap a button multiple times for it to work. And the subtitles are out of sync with the shows.
Between myself, partner and family, we pretty much have all the video streaming apps and this one is the worst! In fact, it is the only one I have bothered to write a review for because it got to a point where it is so annoying. It glitches ALL the time. Every time I am watching something a pop up will appear saying something like ‘oops, something went wrong’ or some sort of error message. This means I have to go back and click on the episode again. I have also had many times where I open the app and it takes forever to load and videos often buffer. This never happens with any of the other video apps I use so I know it is not my WiFi or signal causing this. There have been times when I’ve downloaded videos and then when I go to watch them they are missing!! It sometimes skips back several episodes from the one I was already watching.. Overall, a very unreliable and glitchy app.
I have tried to cancel my subscription as not sure I want to continue this when it runs out and thought I would cancel before the renewal date however, every time I click on cancel on the app it closes the app down. I have deleted the app and reinstalled on my phone numerous times and it still does the same …. It’s very annoying and no one gives helpful advice
They need to fix the issue where it keeps saying I’m already watching on another device when I know I’m the only one in the house who watches keeping up with the kardashians 😭
