Description
It’s easy with the IKEA Home smart 1 app and TRÅDFRI gateway. Use one setting for early morning lighting and music, another for late evenings and a third for cooking or working at home.
You can dim, turn off, turn on, change colours and switch from warm to cold light. Raise or lower blinds. Turn on your music – then turn it up, turn it down or pause it. And you can even control your air purifier to improve the air quality at home.
With the IKEA Home smart 1 app, you can also connect to Apple Home, Amazon Alexa or Google Home and control it all with your voice.

Τραγικό όλο το σύστημα IKEA Smart Home
ΜΗΝ αγοράσετε καμία συσκευή IKEA smart γιατί έχει ανυπέρβλητα προβλήματα συνδεσιμότητας και η εφαρμογή είναι απλά άθλια. Στη δίκη μου περίπτωση η εφαρμογή κάποιες μέρες βρήκε το δίκτυο του σπιτιού (το gateway είναι δίπλα στο router και συνδέεται με καλώδιο ethernet) αλλά στη συνέχεια το έχασε και από τότε δεν μπορεί να λειτουργήσει (και όλες οι smart συσκευές ΙΚΕΑ). Δεν μπορείς να κανείς hard reset από το app και στο site δεν υπάρχει τίποτα βοηθητικό στα τόσα προβλήματα που αναφέρουν οι χρήστες…

No functionality over mobile data
The app works only if the user is on the same Wi-Fi with the tradfri gateway. When at home one can easily use the remote controllers, instead of the app. Need to add functionality over mobile data connection or a different Wi-Fi.
Power cut and then as soon as the power back all the lights come on
It could be like, if power is cut (gateway will be disconnected) lights would not turn on until they connect to the gate and read their last status. There can be an action (turn off and on two times in 2 seconds or sth like that) to remove that limitation so it switches to manual control. In case there is an issue with connection, or user needs to turn the light on without waiting for the bridge to connect to the network, because router will also need to be up in that case, which might take even longer than the bridge itself. And if lights are turned off/on via the switch on the wall when there is no powercut (gateway will be connected in this case) it would just turn on the light. That would really be great. Though i'm still ok with just a notification, because coding above scenarios will be too complex and will not satisfy everyone's needs anyway :) Timers might be a good idea for a vacation or such stuff, but that would not solve the issue for waking up blinded in the night which is not a big issue for me. It only happened twice since I switched to Tradfri, 3 months ago. But that might be crucial for people living in places where power cuts happen a lot more.

Απογοήτευση που διάλεξα να πάω με ικέα φωτισμό. 1. Δεν δουλεύει με WiFi extender- τραγικό 2. Δεν έχει να φτιάξεις account , για να μπορείς να χειρίζεσαι από μακριά τη συσκευή
Connectivity with gateway
Most of the times the connection between the app and the gateway is not available.
Always throwing me out
I have 8 spotlights and 1 light bulb under 1 control and hub. 2-3 spotlights keep getting thrown out and have to always synchronize them everytime. And the one light bulb in the night stand delays when i press on or off. There is a delay in all of them and they are all within reach of the hub with no walls in between. Fyi Using my phone
