Needs better interface

I like what the app has to offer, but I find the flash cards difficult to read. Particularly the vocabulary ones. Blue font with mid-gray background doesn’t have enough contrast. Especially if you show the furigana. The flash cards don’t seem to be affected by the accessibility settings so I have no way to make things more readable.

By far the best app for learning japanese kanjis I have ever seen. The ability to select words based on the frequency of use in the japanese language is genius

Great app and I’ve tried MANY

Love the app and I use it every day to review my wanikani kanji. My only critique is I wish I could sync between my phone and tablet. I do all my other studies on my tablet but I have to switch to my small screen to use Benkyō. Anxiously awaiting the update to allow syncing! Then I will happily give 5 stars!

Un must-have

ありがとうございます! J’ai commencé à apprendre le japonais il y a 1 semaine. Il faut bien commencer par apprendre leur « alphabet », et j’ai trouvé cette application via une autre du même développeur. Ultra utile. Des petits quiz des hiraganas tous les jours, et je sais maintenant les prononcer relativement facilement. Pratique pour construire son habitude de prononciation. J’ai l’impression d’avoir 4 ans, mais faut bien commencer quelque part. Si l’on devait donner une critique, je pense que la reconnaissance d’écriture de Kanji n’est pas des plus efficaces. Je me sers d’un site en ligne à la place qui marche mieux. Peut-être un point à regarder. Petite mention au design de l’app, qui suit bien les recommandations d’Apple niveau UI/UX, et c’est un plaisir de voir ça chez des développeurs indépendants. En tant que Dev, ça me touche et au final, c’est tellement plus plaisant a utiliser.

Fantastic App For Learning Japanese

This app and others by the same author has helped me through my first year of Japanese. The Interface is well made and quite intuitive. All of the features are implemented well and without bugs. I have no complaints and will continue to use the app for as long as I’m learning.
