LIFX App 4 can not only help give you the best start, but will turn your experience “up to 11”. Automate your wake up Schedule, or set up your movie-watching Scene (then set up voice control so you don’t even have to leave the sofa), or play with Effects next time you’re entertaining.

The LIFX app is packed full of features like:

- The Basics: on/off, dim, change color, change white temperature.
- Groups: control all lights in a group easily, including on/off and dimming with one touch from the Home Dashboard.
- Group personalisation: choose a LIFX illustration to suit or personalise Group cards with your own pictures.
- Schedules: automate your lights to fade, change color, and turn on/off, all visible in an easy calendar-style view.
- Effects: play with special effects like the music visualiser, fire, move, candle flicker, strobe, color cycle & more, all in one place.
- Scenes: set your lighting just the way you like it and save it for future.
- Themes: a library of one click colour combinations for a Group, from ‘Proud’ to ‘Soothing’.
- Paint: with your finger in the app, paint colour live onto your LIFX Z, Beam, Tile and Candle.
- Custom colour palettes: add your favourite colours to a custom colour palette.
- Discover Tab: find How To guides, learn about integration partners, or shop for LIFX

- Ambiance: schedule warmer light in the evening - to calm - and whiter light in the morning - to energise.
- “Moccupancy”: set irregular schedules to make it seem like you’re home when you’re not.
- Sleep: set your bedroom lights to deep red just before bed to produce more melatonin which helps you get better quality sleep.
- Stay put: you’ve settled into the sofa for a streaming binge but left the lights on. No need to jump up to the switch, just ask your voice assistant.

Cannot connect to bulb

This company is so trash they left us all in the dust with their stupid overexpensive bulbs whom dont even work.

Doesn’t connect

My smart light bulb doesn’t connect I tried multiple times. By resetting. The device But no success. I even tried waiting the 15 minutes as manual. Guided me to do that but still not working I paid a lot for. A light that. Can’t connected afterwards

If a spray against bugs would fix all these bugs 🤔

I’ve created a new Group and moved some bulbs to that group. When i go to a scene so i can add these bulbs to a scene they do not appear in the list. So as well the bulbs and the new group don’t appear. Not usefull when i want these scenes scheduled, right?

Please bring back the old app

Previous version was much easier to use!

Not reliable

Very often it happens that it says that light went offline even if it didn't not and everything is turned on. After few hours it works again but it is annoying because it happens every 2-3 days. So very often you will not be able to turn on/off lights using the app or change colors at all. So you will be stuck with the last color you used. Otherwise colors are amazing.

Complete overhaul, works perfect!

I have been testing v4 in TestFlight, and use the app daily to control 20+ of my LIFX bulbs, strips and beams. Version 4 is a complete overhaul of the way the LIFX app works. It takes a few minutes to familiarize you with how to get stuff done, but once you understand it, it’s a joy to configure your lights. 11/10 would buy again!

Really?

This is a really really bad change. Why add all the clutter, making us look for basic stuff when you should make this stuff as easy as possible to handle?

HomeKit

I can’t control my lights with the home app, because the lights doesn’t respond. I need to open the app. So irritating

Is wel ambetant dat ik nu telkens de app moet open doen om mijn lichten aan en uit te zetten

Super l'application en français en plus !!!!
