- Groups: control all lights in a group easily, including on/off and dimming with one touch from the Home Dashboard.

- Effects: play with special effects like the music visualiser, fire, move, candle flicker, strobe, color cycle & more, all in one place.
- Scenes: set your lighting just the way you like it and save it for future.
- Themes: a library of one click colour combinations for a Group, from ‘Proud’ to ‘Soothing’.
- Paint: with your finger in the app, paint colour live onto your LIFX Z, Beam, Tile and Candle.
- Custom colour palettes: add your favourite colours to a custom colour palette.

- Ambiance: schedule warmer light in the evening - to calm - and whiter light in the morning - to energise.
- “Moccupancy”: set irregular schedules to make it seem like you’re home when you’re not.
- Sleep: set your bedroom lights to deep red just before bed to produce more melatonin which helps you get better quality sleep.

Bring back exporting scenes to HomeKit

It’s removal makes absolutely no sense. I regret ever buying a light bulb from you guys :(

Don’t ever buy this app. It told me that I could change the colour but it didn’t like I’m about to slap the app

Invisible with iHome and no Siri control

Doesn’t work anymore with SIRI and no connection with iHome app.

Terrible app terrible company updated the app and now I get all ads and lights stopped working

Don't update

They've done it again. While the app interface doesn't change radically with this update, you can no longer long press a scene to say how long to take to change to it one time. Now you have to edit the scene, change the time, press play, change the time back and close the scene editor.

Not good

Cant use my lights for hours sometimes because they wont connect via lifx app

Garbage

Why does a lightbulb need access to contacts, gps, photos, etc? It doesn’t. I changed my wifi password so of course the lights stopped working and I need to set it all up again. And of course this is a nightmare. I use Linux and this week literally set up a home server. And I can not get these lightbulbs to work. Garbage company. Garbage product. Garbage software.

Bright and beautiful color

Best color and quality of any smart or dumb bulb I’ve tried. Connection issues have gone away after latest update. I have 14 bulbs that get used daily. App is great. The new routine function for circadian rhythm works better than Apple’s own home app “adaptive lighting” implementation.

50 bucks for a lightbulb and it doesn’t connect

Why have we invented these problems for our society? I need to update software for my lightbulbs to work or reconnect them to the wifi? Oh they say it only works on 2.4GHz no 5. What a bunch of suckers we are as consumers

Great lights, terrible app.

Just can’t get the app to work. Either it tells me I don’t have wifi enabled, which it is. Or the green button to add device never becomes enabled after the 15 minutes even if I’m directly connected to the Lifx. On-boarding issues for the past 10 years, can’t believe it’s not fixed yet. Tuya devices are a breeze, go for Tuya if you’re experiencing similar issues.
