Mindfulness has been shown to be effective for reducing stress, improving emotional balance, increasing self-awareness, helping with anxiety and depression, and coping more effectively with chronic pain.
Mindfulness Coach 2.0 was developed to help Veterans, Service members, and others learn how to practice mindfulness. The app provides a gradual, self-guided training program designed to help you understand and adopt a simple mindfulness practice. Mindfulness Coach also offers a library of information about mindfulness (for example “What is Mindfulness?”, “How to Anchor Your Attention”), 12 audio-guided mindfulness exercises and a growing catalog of additional exercises available for free download, goal-setting and tracking, a mindfulness mastery assessment to help you track your progress over time, customizable reminders, and access to other support and crisis resources. Mindfulness Coach is free, doesn’t take or share any of your personal information, and doesn’t require add-on purchases.

Works except for breathe feature
App works great, love the tree growing everytime you meditate it keeps you motivated. However when you use the breathe function, for the timer to actually stop when you are done meditating your phone has to be on. If you let your phones screen go black then the timer won’t go off, so if you don’t have a lot of battery or use low battery mode it won’t work. Besides that works great.
Really useful
Simple, to the point, not trying to sell me something or distract me. A very useful tool for daily mindfulness practice.
Best Mindfulness App Available!
I have explored many mindfulness apps over the years, and hands down this one is the best one out there. It contains the basic information found in other apps, but then expands on information and provides assessments and feedback that are unparalleled. It was refreshing to actually learn something new after so many years! I would definitely recommend this app to everyone. Graphics aren’t flashy and presentation is simple and compliment the information presented very well. I look forward to logging on everyday.
