Natural Cycles changed my LIFE
I have been using Natural Cycles for just over a year now after being on multiple forms of birth control like the pill and or different IUD’s for the past 10 years. I was definitely nervous to stop taking birth control as I’m in a committed long term relationship and not ready to bring a baby into our world yet. I also live with epilepsy and experience both tonic-clonic(previously known as grand-mal), and nocturnal(during sleep) seizures. I currently only use the thermometer as my Apple Watch is the year before the temperature gauge came out and I do not own an Oura ring. The thermometer is easy to use and I love how it keeps my last taken temperature in case I fall back asleep after taking it so I can input it into the app whenever I am awake!
I used to get the most severe cramps and back pain, my periods would last for 5-7 days and they would be extremely heavy(when on the pill/IUD).
Almost as soon as I switched to natural cycles I noticed positive changes: less acne, less seizures around my menstrual cycle, 2-3 day long periods with RED blood not dark almost brown/burgundy blood like I would get on previous BC methods. Being able to track my cycle has allowed me to become more in sync with my body and learn about my cycle and the changes through each phase so I can support myself better through each day.

With the addition of wearables, this is the greatest bc method I’ve ever used. I’m so impressed.
Here are 4 things NC should do to make it even more amazing:
- increase number of positive emotion symptoms for tracking
- recognize the value of the app for 30s women monitoring cycles for first signs of perimenopause, provide more education towards menopause
- exportable long term trend data
- include a setup option that fits with incomplete pregnancy (current quiz does not factor in loss of pregnancy or post-abortion starting point)
-offer a place for users to give feedback as this seems to be the only place to do so
No customer support
Having issues with payment, wanted to get in contact with them to figure out what was going on and why it looks like I was charged several times. The only customer “support” is a glitchy AI bot that can’t actually do anything. Not happy.
Best birth control option!!
Before getting married I was worried about chemical contraception or the pain of putting an IUD and all the complications that can come from that. Natural cycles has allowed be to be so confident in my body while preventing pregnancy naturally!! I have been using it for over 1 year and I absolutely love it. I wish more people would use it! 11/10 recommend!
Pls add fitness button!!
I absolutely love the features and being able to add so many options to our day to help with overall health and cycle tracking. Please add a fitness button! I find fitness affects my mood and cycle so much it would be nice to track how my mood or cycle improves depending on if i workout or not. Under fitness it can have an option for yoga, cardio or strength or something like that!

Great app, be aware of annual subscription
I like the app a lot but accidentally signed up for the annual subscription instead of monthly. Their customer service is excellent. They got back to me right away and fixed it.
Good for period track - NG preggo setting
I used this app to get pregnant, it was awesome at tracking my period and has great information for understanding my body. However, I noticed once you change to the preggo setting, it is very confusing and has little information. I found free apps were better to use. I will consider getting this app again in the future to help track my period.

I started using the app a couple months ago and my app detected some weird variations in temperature and said that my thermometer was broken and faulty so I contacted the people and they are willing to send me a new one! I think that shows that they truly care and are willing to help their people out! Definitely recommend this app!!
