My house is 2 level.. I am 63yrs old and don’t really occupy my upstairs only for guest..my unit is upstairs.. I live in hot Texas so my air is major.. I love how I can check the temp in my house before arriving home.. turn on my air before I arrive home to a cool house after beating the Texas heat.. one of the best gifts my son ever gave me

I hate my nest

Nest has a mind of its own. I said it at one temperature (75) and it gets too cold during the day and at night is too hot and I have to change the temperature to cool off

They control your thermostat without permission

The thermostat works great. I loved it until google bought the company. They constantly manipulate your temperature without permission. They turn your heat down and your AC up CONSTANTLY, and you can’t even stop them. More worthless google paper weights.

Useless! Update to spy on location

They updated the app to were it will not work unless you allow "Always" for allow location update. It has worked fine until then. There is no reason for this app to always see my location. So now the app is worthless. I will be looking to change companies that don't spy on you.

I cannot make it stop “learning.” It’s always changing from what I set it at.0

The eco is pure annoying!!!

Can’t detect my phone’s location being at home

Is the microphone on or off

You go to the microphone setting but you do not know if you are enabling audio recording or not. The settings make no sense. Please change it to indicate that it is on or off. The icon is grey or it is blue. If it is grey is the microphone recording? If it is blue is the microphone recording. Please make it obvious to any idiot Also going to your web page for help doesn’t indicate it either. It just says you can turn it on or off.

App logs me out way too often

This app is constantly logging me out and since my Google account is some sort of business account I can’t use the normal “login with Google” authorization flow. Very frustrating
