Yes, NS Travel Planner is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is NS Travel Planner legit?
🤔 The NS Travel Planner app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
PLEASE make this app more user friendly. Please. I have to use it several times a week due to commuting. Why is it not possible to filter for trips that have e.g. less than 3 stops. Or are shorter than x amount of time. Or why can’t I sort all results by number of train changes or arrival time??
It’s all just a huge mess and driving me crazy. It has all these features but completely lacks on the basics of search function.
Two stars because (if you manage to find your train) the info on delays or cancellation is useful.

Fast perfekte App, nur die OVpay App sollte integriert werden, dann hat man alles zusammen. Außerdem fehlen weitere Zahlungsoptionen, Paypal, Applepay etc.
No login possible
Unfortunately, you cannot login to your account. The app redirects to the login page of NS but loops then in „something went wrong“.
Why always late?
I don’t understand, why are you guys always late… we pay for the service and cancellation, being late is the norm.. I don’t understand. I though Germany had the worst train but seems like NS is even worse 🤦🏻♂️

Unpractical App selling tickets whose are not working
Better buy your tickets on other Apps or Pages, where you can be sure to be allowed using the ticket you bought.
Two of three tickets I bought couldn’t be used. I choosed a connection, got a ticket offered and didn’t receive the tickets one time. The second time I couldn’t use the ticket I received, since it was no Off-Peak-Time.
Why the hell would I offer an Off-Peak-Ticket, when it’s not an Off-Peak-Connection 🤷♂️
That must be improved, since it’s a fraud to the users / customers!
