Download this free official New Zealand government app and use it to request your NZeTA and pay the IVL. The app is the fastest way to request an NZeTA and should take you less than 5 minutes.
You can use the app to scan your passport to upload your details and scan your credit or debit card for ease of payment.
You can request and pay for up to 10 NZeTAs in one transaction for your family or group.
What are the NZeTA & IVL?
The NZeTA is a border security measure introduced by the New Zealand Government on 1 October 2019.

Most visitors coming to New Zealand must pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) of NZD $35. The IVL is a way for you to contribute directly to the tourism infrastructure you use and help protect the natural environment you enjoy during your stay in New Zealand. Funktioniert nicht mehr
Schade! Die App funktioniert nicht mehr. Alte Daten und damit das noch gültige Visa sind nicht aufrufbar.
Fehlermeldung
Seit einigen Monaten erhält man bei Aufruf der App nur noch eine Fehlermeldung. Man kann weder sein aktuelles NzeTa einsehen noch ein neues beantragen. Auch eine Neuinstallation brachte keinen Erfolg. Schade, denn bis dahin war die App nützlich und hilfreich.

Installed, opened… and the one and only thing I see is an error message. Scrap…. Please fix!
App ohne Funktion
Leider funktioniert die App seit einigen Tagen nicht oder nicht mehr. Das vermittelt kein gutes Gefühl für die Anreise
Really, it has worked before! // Echt! Es hat schon mal funktioniert!
That was before Corona, it worked perfectly - but what has happened since then? "Sorry, an error occurred" in continuous loop. Is the software not tested? Das war vor Corona, da hat es tadellos funktioniert - aber was ist seitdem passiert? „Sorry, an error occurred“ in Dauerschleife. Wird die Software nicht getestet?
Funktioniert nicht
Auf mehreren Endgeräten probiert, es kommt seit Tagen nur eine Fehlermeldung. Ganz großer Schrott!
Not working at all
Just shows error message when opening. This is especially disappointing as the NZeTA is discounted via the app an there is no other choice than to pay the premium to use the website…
