Daylight robbery by the app. On my first transaction, my money has been deducted but the app suddenly being unresponsive. When i reopen the app again i have to resubmit and repaid again for the second time. Instead of spending 52 AUD, now i have to spent double instead. This is unfair and the customs customer service never pick their calls.
This is a completely crap system and should be abandoned. I’m a NZer and my partner, who is visa free, was denied bording just cos they want their money but don’t want to provide instant approval. Therefore it’s exactly the same as a visa. Since when did NZ become so high and mighty that we need to do this to friendly visa free countries. No advice was also given when purchasing tickets that this would now be a pre-requisite. So get to the airport and they won’t let you on. Need 62 hours to process. Absolutely ridiculous. I am absolutely ashamed of NZ immigration.
Submitted my NZETA application using Malaysian Passport on this apps on 25/05/22 around 8pm. Got the NZeta approval within 1 minute. Very impressed with the efficiency, easy to use and photo can be taken by using phone camera.
I have never experience such an amazing convenient way to apply for a visa. However after doing for myself hubby and son, I couldn’t add another one for my mom the following day.
The apps crash when after I take the picture (step2).
Used Samsung phone (3yrs old) - scanned passport easily but would NOT take photo.
I understand many Malaysian passport holders were unable to get the app to scan their passports so I was relieved when it was able to scan mine. But after successfully taking a photo, I wasn’t sure what to do next. It seems like I’m supposed to tap on the blue tick on the bottom left corner of the screen, which I did do, but I’m still stuck on the same page.
Tried this for my family 6 pax. Speedy and really convenient. Submitted at 11:11 am local time for all 6 and within a minute each is already issued. Rnieza
Hi, I was attempted to travel with my family. I have applied for a number of people but the apps is not allow to add on the application for more people
Hooray.. Malaysia passports can use this app to apply for NZ visa 👍
