Owlet Dream app? Not available in NL
Hi, I’m trying to configure the sock version 3 and it mentions that I need to have the Owlet Dream app which is not available in the Netherlands!! Meaning I can’t use the product I bought. What can be done about this? Why doesn’t this current app support the sock version 3 as it shows it as a product to configure?
History and graphics doesn’t show data - sock 3
The main reason for buying this, to registrar data from our baby doesn’t work. They say it is a bug that will be solved soon, but they don’t. So not worth buying.
History and graphs are not working! Owlet sock 3
History and graphs are not working! Owlet sock 3. For one week now. Customer service promised me the bug would be fixed within one week but it still doesnt work. Not worth the money
Not stable
App takes a long time to load the video stream. Data from the sock is not showing in the fullscreen video stream. Cam2 gives a warning that there is no video stream while showing the stream on the main page 🤷🏻♂️. Not what you expect from the high end system they claim to have. (Cheap WiFi cameras are way more reliable)
Save yourself time, money and a lot of heartache
Worst baby monitor I’ve had. The camera has a lot of issues. Keeps disconnecting, have to reinstall almost every day. You use a baby monitor to be able to keep an eye (ear) on your baby, but when it keep disconnecting at random times, it’s of no use.
When it does work, the video quality is perfect, but that is the only positive point.
The sock also has a lot of issues. The time before next charge goes down faster than real time. Keep getting alarm that the saturation can’t be measured, even though the sock is one perfectly. And then a few seconds later nothing is wrong without even touching it.
The chat service in the app is just as bad as the rest.
Please save yourself a lot of money and buy another baby monitor
Am I expecting too much from such an expensive product?
I’m baffled the app doesn’t have proper support for the iPad, and the Dutch translations definitely need some Quality Assurance checking. Glad I checked the app before I bought the product.
Login and loading issues
Have to press login (but not enter credentials ) every time I open the app on my iPhone 11. And the camera feed turns black after a few seconds and also when I turn my phone to landscape mode.
Works great
App and cam are working great but often we need to “reset” the cam because app keeps saying loading to the cam.
Only problem with the app when using the phone getting warm and the battery level is going fast.
