Magical metadata collection
I’ve noticed strides recently in metadata collection, and it’s really great. I look forward to future improvements to this software! Well done!!

Cross platform works great, coming from mendeley this app works much better. So far no issues. I think app has improved a lot, I haven’t encountered any of the issues mentioned in the older reviews. Can recommend highly
Whenever I try and download a paper (or even access it's webpage) my institute page comes up saying stale request. I’ve never been able to download PDFs from the iPad app so I have to do it on my computer which can be annoying. When I try and email support from within the app it just pops up saying “your device is not configured to sent email” (yes, with the grammatical error). Quite frustrating given I pay for this...
Missing a lot of the polish of Papers
You’ve got a long way to go to get this app anywhere near the functionality of Papers 3 (even although the latter hasn’t been updated for over 2 years). 1. It will not “match” a pdf imported from another app to a published paper. 2. It does not turn your annotations into a set of notes that can be exported. 3. It does not allow you to export the reference citation so that it can be included in a paper being written. 4. It does not allow you to send the paper to another app. 5. It does not allow you to print the paper. I’m going to stick with Papers 3 until these things can be done.
I really wanted to switch from EndNote to this but the Apple Pencil support isn’t quite right. Going into pencil mode, if you turn to highlight it drags the page instead. You have to tap and hold which is slow and unnatural. Second, the toolbar sits at the bottom obscuring text and it can’t be moved, and the page can’t be scrolled vertically. EndNote did a better job with Pencil support.
Most of the Papers3 features are there but it would be nice to have the summary view of highlighting and notes available.
Great program and always looking out for customers. Very responsive. Love using read cube and Im constantly excited about where it is going.
I'd been printing articles and highlighting/taking notes/documenting to do my assignments and looking for a way to organise my articles better. This app has helped so much. The best feature is the article suggestions. I've used that to strengthen arguments a number of times. Highlighting and reading my notes is also great when it comes to writing as all my notes are in one spot, right next to the article.
A fantastic app that has a lot of potential, however needs a few improvements. Annotations need to be more robust in terms of writing, and highlighting. Some articles it highlights both columns at once instead of treating them as separate columns of text, and sometimes it can't even recognise the text at all. The hyperlink King is a fantastic feature of all the references, however there are still a few articles where it doesn't work and this need to be ironed out before it gets 5 stars.
