Backup is not done automatically, the user is responsible for such a backup (IDB file) using features (iCloud, Dropbox, email, FTP ...) exists in iPassSafe to avoid loss of data when device is lost, damaged or any other reason, furthermore iPassSafe is NOT providing any direct cloud service, password retrieval, or backup service for security reason (all data stored on your device only!), user need to decide where to do the backup (iCloud, user's private Dropbox account, user's diskonkey using FTP, or user's email ...), the user is also responsible for this backup safety.

Not All There

Seems to work Ok but annoying little issues like not being able to change icon " type" in Notebook" are enough to have me looking for an alternative app Support is non existent. I’ve sent several messages asking for help on how to clear a assumed message indicator on the iPassSafe app icon (red circled 1 in the upper right corner) and had zero response. Granted it’s the free version of the app but this lack of support will 100% keep me from upgrading.

Après plusieurs mois de bon fonctionnement, maintenant il ne fonctionne plus. Très déçue.

Ordre alphabétique vs chronologique

Depuis la dernière mise à jour, il n’y a plus possibilité de garder la préférence “alphabétique” dans les rubriques. Par exemple, en revenant de consulter un élément dans “autre”, alors qu’ils étaient tous alignés par ordre alphabétique au départ, tous les éléments se retrouvent alignés par ordre chronologique. Impossible de les garder par ordre alphabétique au retour à la liste, l’ordre que je préfère et que je n’avais jamais besoin de rechoisir à chaque action comme c’est malheureusement le cas maintenant. Hormis ce désagrément, l’application satisfait tous mes besoins. Merci

Never works properly after a software update. I can open the app but when I attempt to look an information it just opens and closes - on the iPad. The phone is okay.

Login & Support Issues

I have tried to contact support but their site doesn’t allow me to send the information. I changed my master login password and it looks like the login main screen doesn’t permit a lengthy password and I’m locked out and only have 4 attempts left before I lose everything. I can’t find any other way to contact developer. Very frustrating.

Impossible de voir mes password

Depuis la dernière version sur mon iPad, il m’est impossible de voir mes mots de passe. Si je clique sur un item, par exemple « Apple id » pour voir mon pw. La fenêtre s’ouvre et se referme immédiatement. Donc, j’ai plus de 100 mots de passe d’enregistrés dans l’application et je n’y ai plus accès.

Great app

The only issue I have is there is no way to export the data in a text, CSV or other readable format. Apart from that I think this is a great app.

IPassSafe issues

Lost everything :( This app has worked great for several years, but recently went to open and the app asked to change password, now “ALL” my data is gone… Just shy of 200 entries, all gone… I have sent requests to the app help and have never received a response… I would have rated 5 stars before the loss…

Worst app / loses dara

Do not buy this app! The ui is terrible and even worse after a recent OS update all of my data (and several other customer’s lost all of their passwords. Not a good feature in a password app. Would not recommend. 100s of customers lost data and no one from the company responded. This is a scam.

The app is a fail.

I had about about 70 things stored in this safe and one day they all disappeared. Notes can do the same job as this app and you can put a lock on your notes.
