Backup is not done automatically, the user is responsible for such a backup (IDB file) using features (iCloud, Dropbox, email, FTP ...) exists in iPassSafe to avoid loss of data when device is lost, damaged or any other reason, furthermore iPassSafe is NOT providing any direct cloud service, password retrieval, or backup service for security reason (all data stored on your device only!), user need to decide where to do the backup (iCloud, user's private Dropbox account, user's diskonkey using FTP, or user's email ...), the user is also responsible for this backup safety.

3. Sync is not merging data, you have to keep all updated data on one device and use sync option upload file, then load and activate with a password on all your other devices

Back up files - unrecognizable

Useless since latest version. Although very complicated to import backup files I figured out to do this and it worked. Now this app does not even recognize the same back up files. Meaning if my phone is lost I will have lost all my passwords 😠. Sent mails to support - NO Response. Sad, since this was very cheap and a once off also.

Help! iOS upgrade and passwords lost

Help! My iOS software upgraded and all my passwords have been wiped out! I have been backing up regularly but cannot find how to retrieve the backups!

All Passwords LOST with Update

Ridiculous. My app must have updated with the iPhone in the night. I logged in this morning to get a password for a website, the app requested I change my password and login with face recognition. Once I entered the new password and the app opened all my login and password details have been wiped off. This is incredibly frustrating.

App was working fine till Iphone12, now keeps On reverting to the default every 7 odd days and what a battle to get your saved file loaded back on so that you can access your passwords and usernames. Not recommended unless you want to battle… Sent mail to the team but 2 months now not a single reply to assist me as a user..

Useless software

This is supposed to keep passwords and login data safe. I have lost all my data twice now with iphone softwarre updates. After software update ipasssafe opens as if it is a new installation - all previous data wiped!
