Very disappointing services
Both sitter and the app are lack of communication. The booking cancelled by sitter 4 days ago without notifying customer but only requested in system. The system didn't proceed The cancellation and also didn't notify me. After request for a refund, they only asking if I need another sitter. So disappointed.

Needs a lot of work
I’m a full time pet sitter and use a few different apps. Pet backer is by far the worst. Difficult to use, requires you to post photos but photos some time go out of frame. Needs owner to scan QR code. No one wants to do that. Won’t allow you to share info like phone number before booking. Meaning pet sitter and pet parent is at risk because they can’t do meet and greet. App requires so much info from Pet sitter but half the pet parents don’t even have a photo of their pet and you get a lot of scammers coz anyone claiming they are pet parent can create an account. Whoever made this app clearly doesn’t know what pet sitting is about. Made this app more difficult than it should be

Easy and Convenient to Use
I use this app for my dog’s daycare and boarding needs. The app is quite user friendly and intuitive, and the services offered through the app are convenient and value for money.
Not a good first experience with PetBacker
I downloaded the app in an attempt to find a pet sitter at short notice 27/28 November. The features of the app did not work well on my Apple devices and I had to contact the support team to finalize my first booking when I could not finalize the payment. The payment was eventually made with manual intervention but cancelled by the support team / finance team without explanation. They asked me to pay again. After 3 hours of msg back and forward I asked the support team to cancel the booking as I was not prepared to waste any more time on. I went back to another app abd booked a pet sitter in minutes. I won’t be trying this app / service again despite being offered a $5 voucher to try again.

I tired to become a sitter on this app but did not want to share my service on my social media. I was told to then get family and friends to leave me a review or I couldn’t use the app. The reason family and friends need to leave a review was to make the pet owners feel confident in me. I already had a job request but couldn’t complete it.
Terrible app for pet sitters
I am a pet sitter in this app and find several problems with it. From the way the communication is restricted just because they don't want us to take their part of the quote. To the fact that when I actually finished my first sitting job I have no way of getting that payment. So after respecting their policy on the app to do the transaction in the app and 17 days of work now I've had to wait for more than a week to get the money that I urgently needed and worked for. As well as whenever I am asking for help from the costumer service team, I always get the same response of having to wait for over 14 working days for a simple PayPal transaction even tho the customer told me their money has already been taken by the app and they gave me a positive review!!!! Overall this app just does not take care or give the necessary respect to all the pet sitters and people working in it.

really restricting and manipulative app. Poorly designed and does not allow exchange of personal information or more detail when jobs are requested. They just want you to stay in the app and even deducts quite a large amount from your quote of service you offer. After you run out of credits, you cant accept more jobs. What is the point of getting credits when you are already taking a sum from each service?? and to accept jobs you need 3 people to review your profile but its actually trying to get other people to register and make their app known. Not a good app if you are looking for sitters or want to find sitters. Find another app.
