Very good dictionary but disastrous cloud back up system
Quite a good dictionary but all the back ups do not actually work and you lose all your information. I have been working with the app for 3 years and lost my data each time. I have even bought the premium one-off payment version and I have had the same issue. It is 2022, they need to understand how the cloud works
The best Chinese dictionary, unintuitively designed
I love Pleco. It has endless features and lots of ways to learn with it, but I think it’s time for a more modern redesign, mainly following iOS’ human guidelines could take this dictionary to the next level. As a beginner, I feel like I don’t need to see archaic and literary results. Is it possible to change? If this keeps improving I will consider buying it.

Tras aprender chino durante 20 años y utilizarlo profesionalmente en el día a día, puedo afirmar que este es el mejor diccionario y herramienta de aprendizaje del chino. Para mí el precio merece la pena, es una inversión para toda la vida.

I would give it 5 stars
But I’m not a fan of some of the vocabulary you choose to define words. Calling things “queer” mainly. Say I’m an SJW all you want I don't mind, but it’s not hard to not use those words in a derogatory manner. The english language has a variety of words to choose from that express the same meaning without upholding outdated values.
