Background upload doesn’t work

Jayman445566 on

Background upload only works when the app is open. And why does the app require to always know my location even though it’s set to upload over WiFi??

Amazing

This app can do a lot of things.

Crashes when configuring auto upload

MarshallDE on

iPhone 15 pro. App crashes when trying to select a folder during configuration of auto photo upload. Rebooted and reinstalled app. Same issue.

Useless

NachoChip123 on

I don’t understand where to find the downloaded file. The downloaded files are not appear in the share iOS folder. If QNAP not fixing this, this app is useless. I can use other file explorer app to download file from the NAS instead.

Causes huge bloat in “other data”

evilcartman-the -original on

Every time I use this app to send a file to my queue app, the file gets stored in the strange wasteland of “other data or system data”, so I’m not gaining any storage by moving over to the queue nap. Overtime this app will cause your iPad or phone to completely run out of storage. it has a cache but that’s not where the data is being stored so there is no way to clear the data without deleting the app and you have to constantly delete it and uninstall it to keep the garbage data off of your device.

Important Options are not available

@bkbc on

To the development team, your app must explicitly ask iPhone users for discover and connection to local area network. PLUS,the app must do the same regard access to gallery, these options are not available by default under device settings. IPhone 13 Pro user.

Background upload process was killed all the time

After close the app but keep background app refreshing

Cache management problem

Fahmi5389 on

I regularly send files from my NAS to other applications. Its logical that the app needs to download the file first before it can share the file to another application. However, i don’t understand why it never delete that temporary download. I dont click on download, i want want to store any files offline with the qfile app. Using the app for a month and I end up having 30-40 gb of cache. It never clears automatic, i have to go and manually clear it. Is the point of cache thats it’s temporary and dynamically managed. Taking 30-40gb for a file management app is just stupid and I have to go and clear it manually? So dumb

Please restore offline viewing of cached files

RandoAppReviewer on

A recent update removed History from Downloads, and it’s no longer possible to open recently opened files that haven’t been saved to Downloads without being connected to the NAS, even though the files are still locally cached. Please restore History and offline viewing of cached files.
