Description

The Samsung Family Hub app now works only on Family Hub refrigerators with TIZEN Software Version 4.0 and earlier.

For Samsung Family Hub refrigerators that operate on TIZEN 6.0 Software version and later, the Family Hub app will no longer be supported. Please download and use the SmartThings app instead.
- Features like uploading pictures and videos can be accessed via the Family Hub device card
- Food-related features like View Inside, Recipe Recommendation, Meal Planner, Shopping List and Food List can be accessed via the SmartThings Cooking Service

The Software version can be found on your Family Hub in Settings > About Family Hub> Software version > TIZEN 6.0.

The following permissions are required for the app to work. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

[Required Access Permission]
- Contacts: Registered Samsung Account information will be used to provide services that require account linking

[Optional Access Permission]
- Microphone: Needed to record voice for Memo and Whiteboard
- Storage: Required to provide cloud-connected features for sharing photos and videos

Won’t work with IPhone. Can’t connect to my fridge

Samsung hub no longer works for iPhone

Samsung have chosen to disable this app and have not replaced the functionality for iPhone users, Consumers should complain and ask for refunds on their Samsung smart fridges as the fridge no longer is capable of doing what it was intended to do. Samsung have chosen the easy path to support by removing the app and expect users to use smart things , which has no features and does not work well for iPhones

Terrible.

App doesn’t even open most of the time. No exaggeration, majority of the time it does not open, just keeps trying to load or keeps being Ling up the Terms & Conditions page, over and over.

Won’t even load

No matter how hard I try the app doesn’t even load on my phone anymore. Moreover the fridge can’t even connect to my wifi and its date and time is all messed up. Absolute waste of money, should’ve just gotten a normal fridge like everyone else.

App is flawed

Fridge is great, concept is great, but the app keeps showing an error. I delete and reinstall now once every couple of days as it happens frequently.

Won’t open anymore

The app has always been a bit buggy, but I’ve now deleted and reinstalled the app 5 times in the last couple of weeks but just keep getting anerror

New fridge update causes smart hub app not to work

Ever since the fridge update a few days ago I can no longer access app via iPhone. I have removed the downloaded app and reinstalled it, was able to use for a moment then back to error. FHUBMOBILE_notice_smartthings_ios Please fix ASAP

Doesn’t work on latest fridge update

Mine stopped working and can’t login anymore since the last update on the fridge

Now it won’t even load!

So now the app doesn’t even appear to work at all on my iPhone, despite being latest update iOS, deleting app, reloading app, resetting phone, resetting fridge software, reasoning with it, throwing phone against wall, swearing a lot, crying, mourning and finally acceptance. It is fortunate the fridge is keeping my food cold as it should. Thank goodness for small mercies.

App no longer working

Very disappointed to see the app no longer working. Every time I go to use the app the following bug comes up FHUBMOBILE_notice_smartthings_ios. I have no idea how to report it as the app won’t even get past the loading screen. Please help and I will be happy to change the start rating
