Totally loved this fridge for this reason only and now they went and took all of the great features away! Now this is just a regular normal fridge that is overpriced! Incredibly disappointing. Normally product gets better within years but not worst🙄 I can’t upload any pictures any longer, I can’t even ask Bixby to set a timer for me any longer, it has none of the features I originally had.

I don't write many reviews, but I am beyond disappointed that this app no longer works on my new fridge. We have been directed to use SmartThings instead which no longer supports the family calendar, the memo pad, whiteboard, family board, and the food list...many features that enticed us to purchase a very expensive fridge. Fridge is no longer worth the extra investment. Think twice before you buy!

Family Board can’t be edited at initial exploration. I have tried everything. For the cost of fridge and the collection of complaints here I’m shocked not to see troubleshooting or recall information. A rush to compete with Apple but a complete fail. Bixby is Alexa’s needy wanna-be cousin.

Getting there I’d like to see a quicker way to change the date on my items. I’m also pro barcode scanning and easy expiry date entry. I’d like support for my entertainment video options. Netflix, prime, Rogers ignite tv and more. Please open it up. I’d also like a way I can send things to my fridge like recipes I found on my phone. Update: bring back Glympse. Google photo support. I’d like the ring app to show live video when there is motion detected. Update: when I check an item off my list, it would be nice if I could set the expiry date right then and there. Expiry date management is such a chore and a feature that is broken in my opinion.

Over all I love the app! But the biggest draw back is it won’t let me add a second account! I can access everything from my phone...grocery list, whats inside.... everything! It will let me add my husbands account but when he tries to sign in it wont let log him in! He has a samsung and it so weird that the samsung app isn’t supported on a samsung phone! It works great on iPhone!

There are pros and cons to this app and as mentioned in the title there is SO much potential however is not cultivated. I appreciate We can see inside the Samsung fridge, monitor temperatures of fridge and freezer, the notification of replacing filtered etc. Notifications on fridge or freezer door being open is also great. I’m keen on the shopping lists and to do lists my boyfriend and I can both edit/update independently if one is at the store and picks something up or competes a task on the to do list it’s easy to check off - the MAJOR down side is the notification to the other the prompts is “Family Hub has been updated” what I’d like to see is “Persons name has updated the To Do list” or “persons name has checked off an item (better yet note what that item is!) on the shopping list. I’d like to see notification when an event is updated on the calendar either on the fridge or one of our family members calendars. Currently every notification is “Family hub has been updated” you then have to go through every part of the app to figure out what exactly the notification was about, was it the calendar, a shopping list, a to do list, a memo, the whiteboard, a photo was up loaded? I’d also like to see an interfacing between apps like Pinterest for the meal planner (I.e be able to send recipes on Pinterest to the meal planner) also why can we only access the meal planner on the fridge and not the app?! This is very annoying typically we don’t stand at the fridge choosing what to eat rather at work messaging one another or on the drive home or at the store etc. These are just some of my biggest constructive criticism of the app I’d genuinely appreciate improvements on. The Essence of the app is to act as a family hub which the app has the capacity to do so however very unfortunately does not provide the user the practicality of doing so.

Not user friendly for IPhone users. Cannot change things like screen saver from phone, have to go to fridge to do it. Not many options in changing colors etc.

Ok just bought this 2 days ago and was playing around with uploading pictures and videos. All of a sudden when I tried to switch a video on the board the whole thing just hung and rebooted. After that I can’t upload pictures any more!!!!! Even after resetting to factory default it still doesn’t work.. What the heck is going on????!!

Works okay but it is very slow to load. Using on an iPhone. Maybe that’s why?
