The Samsung Family Hub app now works only on Family Hub refrigerators with TIZEN 4.0 Software version and below.

For Samsung Family Hub refrigerators that operate on TIZEN 6.0 Software version and above, the Family Hub app will no longer be supported. Please download and use the SmartThings app instead.
- Features like uploading pictures and videos can be found within the Family Hub device card
- Food related features like View Inside, Recipe Recommendation, Meal Planner, Shopping List, and Food List can be found within the SmartThings Cooking Service

(The Software version can be found on your Family Hub from Settings > About Family Hub> Software version > TIZEN 6.0)

The following permissions are required for the app service. For optional permissions, the default functionality of the service is turned on, but not allowed.

[Required Access Permission]
- Contacts: Registered Samsung Account information will be used to provide services that require account linking

[Optional Access Permission]
- Microphone: Needed to record voice for Memo and Whiteboard
- Storage: Required to provide cloud-connected features for sharing photos and videos

Won't connect to server is the constant message. Useless

A Company Embarrassment

Without question, a horribly developed app, completely useless for the purposes of a key appliance in your kitchen. One of the great missed opportunity flubs of the modern tech era. Turns a great lcd panel into a worthless piece of glass. After the first week of putting photo’s up, you will ignore it, since it has not real value. This company put their dumb as dirt team on its development and it shows!

Unable to even sign in

This app won’t even let me sign it it just lets me enter my email then a white page. There is also no where to sign in with google so my previous account linked to my fridge doesn’t work

Painfull with SmartThings

Hate the internet browser support blame the actual website but it works fine on iPhone and PC’s in the how. Same old blame game with technology. Fix your product Samsung!

What happened!!!

I’ve been waiting for years for this application to be updated to work with my original Family Hub. It was working and then it seems like with an update now it’s not working again! Can you please fix it so it works with the original version of Family Hub again to upload pictures and other aspects is made my very expensive Family Hub refrigerator useless Update. Working for now!

Seriously? This is your app today ? Its AWFUL

Purchased a new fridge a week ago , downloaded this app . Its not an app - its a nightmare. Most dumb , useless and simply disgusting app ever seen or tried to use . Shame on you Samsung ! You re violating customers trust !

Worst app

This the worst app I’ve ever used

Smart becomes dumb

Why did you take away all of the useful features? No more remote access to wire board, to do lists, shopping lists, etc.. setting inside my fridge was the least important feature and the only one left! Please roll back to what it was before!

SOFTWARE UPDATE

Please update software so this app in compatible with the Tizen 6.0 that’s used on the fridges. Makes the fridge completely useless

Terrible

App crashes and unable to connect devices, I was looking foward to this app because I bought all smart samsung appliances and I cant even use the app so disappointed!!! I thought they were supposed to be top tier Don’t get Smart Samsung appliances its useless.!!!
