Goes down when there’s an update

Every time there’s an update everything stops working. The most annoying thing being that we can’t take card payments when this happens and consistently lose sales because of it. To add to that it always seems to cut out on a Friday afternoon, as a retail business Fridays tend to be one of the busiest days of the week, so we lose even more in sales. When it’s working the app is great. User interface changes a little too often which is a bit unnecessary.

Support older versions of iOS

Good app but I wish it supported older versions of iOS. I have to buy a new iPad just so I can use this app now.

Let down and frustrating…

Every time I have to update the app - reload the card reader … I do it the night before an event and the next day same issue. Longest time to sort has been 5 hours , lost sales and increased stress levels. Fed up to the back teeth with it. Revolt is much easier and smoother process and better fees.

Worked great until new update in June Still waiting for the developers to fix (known issues) Our main issue app crashes when print receipt button is pressed Also staff reporting unusual bugs, incorrect dates and losing customers details or notes added Please sort ASAP and I will give 5 stars as it’s normally flawless and whoever signed off on this update should look for another job

Not able to scan by barcode scanner on search

Hi, after the recent update, the barcode scanner is not working on search column. I was able to check my inventory there with a barcode scanner before. In the current version, once i scan the product, it’ll be added to cart. I have to type the keywords and search the product to check the inventory now. :(

Since the update, most of our products do not scan, which is one of the most important features of a POS. 2 support tickets logged so far, and no response. Our shop generates over $10k in sales each month so I am disappointed by their response times while we still struggle. Now looking at alternatives.

The POS app was never perfect but it definitely did everything we needed and generally worked well. However, since this new app it’s all going wrong. The WisePad card readers are really struggling to connect. We have been having to manually reset them using a paper clip and reinstall the app multiple times. This is happening across the whole company with 5 different iPad and card reader combos. We have now lost a number of sales because we can’t get them to connect. The customer details are also sometimes gutting stuck, when we have added a customer after a sale to the order it is staying in the cart and applying to the next transaction. This lead to a couple of receipts being sent to the wrong customer which was very embarrassing. The app also looks a lot worse now, on the larger iPad pros it has become very pixelated and everything looks ballooned. I would revert back to the previous update in a heartbeat. Please fix as this is now getting quite serious.

New update is horrendous

The old version worked really well. The new update seems far slower for searching. When searching the screen locks and won’t let you scroll down. You have to go back and start again. Images of the products also now not showing. When people run their businesses off your apps you need to better beta test before rolling this out.

Discounts

I love the whole shopify thing but it’s so disappointing that automatic discounts don’t sync and you constantly have to amend every order with a manual deduction.
