Just like a lot of other reviews, I signed up for the free trial and checked my active subscriptions but Simple was not amongst them, so thought nothing of it. I then noticed $250 worth of direct debits had gone to Simple and I quickly contacted them as I never ended up even using the app because well to be honest it’s nothing special. Their customer service team just sent the same generic response and wouldn’t even offer a refund for the previous months renewal. Clearly the positive reviews are scripted and you’ll be able to see the copy and pasted response from the developer below to this review as they’re just robots that want your money.
This is not a honest app
I answered all the questions on the website and join the three month membership, then they asked me to download the app.
After I downloaded the app and found that if you want to get the recipe or exercise advice, you have to paid more, so I asked for the refund immediately as they didn’t told me the membership is not including the recipe or exercise advice.
But they hold my case more than ten days and said I only can get half of my money because I didn’t used their app and I am not meet the refund policy
So, for my opinion, I am not suggest you to download this app
AI powered helps to keep up
I prefer this app as it provide AI app and surprisingly it’s helping to talk it out when in need of clarification and almost helps like a plan while I find willpower to keep going with fasting on a continuous basis.
Not marking the fifth star is purely personal reasons as I am unable to afford the subscription at the price it’s marked.
Thieves
So you sign up to try for a month, next minute you been hit for another bigger payment that you didn’t authorise, go thru so many hoops to try and get a refund. You’re as dodgy as hell.

I’ve been using Simple for almost a year and learning about eating habits as I go. I love that I can organise a breakfast, log it, see if it is nutritionally balanced and then edit it to make it optimal. I feel good about my choices and I’m healthy and energetic.
Beware of this app
BUYER BE WARE: When scrolling through looking what this app has to offer you need to provide your credit card details and then they start to take your money after 1 month even though once you get to the monthly cost details $29.99 per month, apparently you have already subscribed. I didn’t proceed with the full log in as this app wasn’t what I needed. 3 months later I only realised this deception due to bank withdrawals. I then had to fully subscribe to get to the unsubscribe info. Only then did I receive the welcome information email with an account number but 4 months too late. It also didn’t show up as a paid subscription on my Apple app subscriptions so this is really disappointing as I feel like I was scammed of my money.

DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DONT ENTER ANY DETAILS - DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!! These crooks have taken $270 from my account after signing up for a trial. I then wrote to cancel and reimburse my transaction and was told that no refund can be provided - please enjoy for the next quarter! NO NOTIFICATION THAT SUBSCRIPTION IS COMING UP - Notified once in the trial small print and no reminder ever, just steal steal steal until you catch them. Won’t even refund when transaction is 2 minutes old! THIEVES!
Simple is simple
I really like the simplicity of the app and program. The coach is fantastic and encouraging. It’s easy to follow fast for 16hrs and eat only in your 8 hour window. Drink plenty of water and herbal teas and everything will fall into place literally. Try it and you can see the results for yourself.
Conflicting messages
Sometimes I will do same meal yet get a different score so it gets a little confusing at times. Also wants to use a nickname but every letter or word is taken??too hard
