The new version is very complicated and incomprehensible. I first started using the app 3 years ago and since then it has gotten worse and worse… and now it's simply awful. I've recommended this app to more than 40 friends, but now I'm thinking of deleting it. I don't understand why they would ruin an app that is powered by simplicity :(
I really think The Pattern App considers what users think about the app… So, i am going to tell what is exactly BAD in new UI. I know designers wanted to The Pattern App look like modern, light themed. But me as a designer I can say it was better before, because the users can control what they read, they could switch up between pages etc. Now, they can not. There is an endless Lens page. The old version was similar to the Instagram Story feature, which was definitely better for users. You think people like doom scroll, okay. But NOT on The Pattern app. It’s confusing. EVERYTHING is a mess. This is not professional, this is not The Pattern. Even i first installed the app, i was very impressed by the logo with the brush stroke. It was very original. You should go more on these colors(black&white) i think, but even the blue UI was better. Your users want to read, dig more, then read again. But now everything is everywhere. There is no UI language, everything has a photo/illustration, they are not relatable with the context/title of the button. It is so hard to read titles with those images, every button is so flat. There is no brand image, it’s just looks like someone who just learned UI design and Figma. Sorry. A fan
They have ruined the app and how it works; by changing it to some weird interactive sliding thingy. It was so useful and easy to navigate before. They just had to do something lol
Why did you delete the similarity percentage feature on the new update? That was one of the first things why ı am using your app besides your all-difficult UX design. Now, you make the app even more complex, have an awful UX design, and delete the percentage similarity feature. I am so upset about your change and won't pay for the premium. Get back the old version ASAP; this one is not usable. Unlike a readable version, you can now give lots of things in a loud version. It's even worse now. Why did you do that? Who thinks this version is more valuable? The first page is even worse. Why do ı have to scroll all the way down to read all the things at the lens? I couldn't quickly return to the page ı was looking for cause ı could not search because of the continuous scroll. Your previous design was more compact and more suitable to use. I want the last version ASAP!!!! I couldn't use this app as if it were new.
Turkish language please 🙏🏻
The UI has become so ugly and difficult to understand. The previous one was fine and it fit the aspect of the app. This one looks so childish.
The app is great, but it should have a Turkish language option. Please consider this, developers.
The new design sucks Change it immediately
I have multiple partners and I want to get notifications for all of them about my partner’s timing. I think those notifications help my relationships a lot but I’m so fed up with changing my current partner so that I get notifications for all my partners. Other than that great app.
No jokes, this app feels like the closest thing to my connection to god. It keeps believing me and my potential in my best and worst days. Amazing app, thank you for all the free parts. I appreciate all the hard work given here. Thank you so much.
