Whilst visiting Rhodes we went to see Acropolis at Lindos. Paid for tickets and audio guide. On arrival tickets fine but no audio guide at all - ever !!! They said it was the Greek tourist board in Athens that set up this app. No refund given. Not impressed - be warned.
Bought tickets to ensure fast track into Venice basilica online. Turned up to be told we had to find a shack down a back street . Eventually found it and then got marched to the basilica . Queued for a further 15 mins. We’re advised to download a audio guide . Did this and then found it was another £7.99. The tour guide by this time had vanished without trace. Absolute scam. Everyone else in the group thought the same.
Our guide today was excellent. Our tour was 3.15 pm today. She was very knowledgeable & took us to all the important places. Very good tour. Very reasonable price too.
As others have noted, the bookings made through Tiqets cannot be depended upon. I have had two bad experiences in two different European capitals where bookings made through Tiqets were not fulfilled and had to be replaced by a booking through another provider. I will not be using Tiqets again. The ‘standard’ response below is noted but the after event enquiry does not diminish the fact that, had I not been able to make alternative arrangements, I would have ‘lost’ the opportunity for two experiences that I had originally booked through Tiqets. My comment of “Unreliable” therefore stands.
The worst thing I found in this app was that they were selling a Roman ruins ticket option which does not include the Colosseum and it was over £22. I was expecting the Colosseum entrance as well because everyone visiting Rome to see the Colosseum. And they are too cunning to make a profit like this
A party of 4 paid 84 Euros for an hour skip the line tour of the Cathedral. I booked on line and have retained the confirmation email. The tour lasted 30 minutes I enquired at tour office afterwards but they said that Company was responsible for bookings We paid for 1 hour not 30 minutes. I would appreciate a response to this review. Thank you
Very quick, easy and lots of trips at lots of different destinations. I love this site and so far it has been fantastic
Got skip the line tickets to Herculaneum in Italy. Tickets on the door we 13 euros cheaper. There was no skip the line, there was only one queue. Queued in the hot sun with small children. Contacted support and was fed a bunch of lies about security checks and told to read the small print. No way of raising a complaint either.
I’ve booked 2 different experiences with Tiqet and both have been great+ Easy to find with the handy maps
It makes booking activities when I’m on holiday so easy
