I have been using this app for more than 2 years;
Good part of this app is that you can protect your 8 devices with one account. But, it’s so disturbing that it will disconnect from internet anytime if your phone needs an update; you don’t know what is happened, they don’t give any notice.
Secondly, they don’t keep their promises; I have given a special discount on my account, but after couple of months it keep increased up to 10 times within a year. Contacted with them, but apart from playing word game with me no issues have been solved. I didn’t trust them anymore. Not recommended.

I was directed TotalAV via an advertisement saying the app was available for a one off payment of $3.00. 
I downloaded the app and while looking through the various functions it became clear the only function that was activated in the free version was the photo gallery organiser. 
All other options such as VPN, Phone locator, online web security, history eraser, identity breach alert would come at a cost of $84.95 to activate for an annual subscription. 
There are plenty of other apps out there that do the same job for free or a much cheaper annual price such as, Trend Security, Robo Form, iPhone does many of these by default,
