Hides cheaper ticketing options
In my long experience, the trainline offers no better (very often far worse) fares than booking directly with the service provider. Its booking and admin charges are also more punitive. The only business case for the trainline is to prey on uninformed passengers booking more expensive tickets with them.
Great and simple way to book transport
This application saved me a significant amount of time searching for and booking train connections throughout Europe, and gave me some good deals on fares too. Good that options for buses are also shown

Scammed out of my hardearned money
Booked a ticket from glasgow to York. it is from glasgow > edinburg > york It happens during midnight. And when i arrived in Edinburgh, the ticket expires. from glasgow to edinburg was at 11:45am Once it becomes 00:01am the next day at edinburg. I couldn't access my QR code anymore. I am beyond fustrated and the train conductor rip another 66pounds from me. Zero compensation, nothing. No response. These fradulent practices often goes unpunished. The 66pounds could help out the local economy in York but they decided to take it from them. I could given to homeless. help out a small business. But no, trainline decides to SCAM it out of me instead. I am sorry if I couldn't help anyone out in York now. You'd better claim it from your corrupt government and train services. As they stole it from you. SHAME ON YOU.

Very efficient. Very user friendly
Great app! Easy to use
Works very well. But it's not intuitive to use the mobile ticket option. That should be the default. I used it for the first time & had to collect my ticket. Will choose mobile ticket next time.
