I’m not usually one to leave negative reviews, but my last experience with this app was ridiculous. I got charged $23 and some change for a package of chicken that was clearly marked as no more than $9 both on the app and on the package. The driver was fine, so it's not on him, but when I tried to address the issue, they said it was my fault for not keeping track while they shopped. Isn’t the whole point of placing an order so it’s one less thing to worry about? Customer service couldn’t even help.

I’ve used Uber Eats dozens of times, and every single time I’ve been disappointed. Not once has my order arrived on time – there’s always a delay of over an hour, which is completely unacceptable. Customer service? Absolutely terrible. They end the chat in the middle of the conversation without offering any solution or compensation. This isn’t a one-time thing; it’s a systematic issue. It’s clear they just don’t care about their customers. The drivers are unprofessional, and the entire service is the worst I’ve ever experienced. I strongly recommend avoiding Uber Eats altogether!
We canceled our order bc the actual wait time was much longer than the wait time given before we paid. And still got charged fully. Bad business practices.
I don’t even know how long I’ve been using uber eats, years maybe? And I’ve had my fair share of issues with orders because that’s fast food for ya. I’m at the point where I’m “not eligible for refunds” anymore because “I’ve complained too many times” or I’ve gotten too many refunds, whatever they wanna say. This is just a simply ridiculous rule, if an order isn’t incorrect, of course I’m going to want my money back! I’m paying my hard earned money on something and if I don’t get what I was expecting, why should I be paying for it?! I’ve even had Uber One multiple times, been a loyal member to them. I’m done with this app. Very disappointing that you have a “limit” for refunds? Ridiculous.
I tried to enter a promo code for my first order then right when I ordered it said “promo code not available” and it said they would give me 25$ off my first order and I never got the deal terrible, app I’m sticking with DoorDash.
Several times I have received my order and it has been incorrect or just someone else’s order entirely and even though I provide pictures, they claim my purchase is not “eligible for a refund”. This has happened so often that I have called and messaged about it and no one helps or has any answers. When you ask for a manager follow up they never follow up. I’ve also noticed that refunds in supposed to have recieved never actually get put back on your card. UBER EATS IS STEALING FROM YOU.
