UniFi Protect

21年1月げんざいですと、個人宅用途では特に不便をかんじません。 人や動きを検出するゾーンを細かく設定できますし、検出した際はわかりやすく表示してくれます。タイムラプスと統合されているので、その前後の映像もシームレスに見れます。 また、家にいるときはWiFi、外出先ではインターネット経由で自動的に接続してくれるので、どこにいても何も考えずにアプリを立ち上げるだけで、いつも通りに使えます。 防犯カメラシステムとして良くできていると思います。

Uniquiti の 優秀なNetwork 関連 GUIに比べると、この監視カメラ用アプリ、クラウド、オンプレミスは以下の点で大変問題がある。以下が改善されないなら決してお勧めする事はない。 1) ユーザーアカウント管理が杜撰 　UniFi製品群のクラウド経由で認証するものとローカル( オンプレミス)認証が共存する様にに見えて、アカウント追加フローが収束出来ない。新しいアカウントを追加すると、メールがきてサインアップをさせずにそのまま製品ログイン画面に突入し、アカウント追加手続きがまともにデザインされていない事に気付く。 　クラウドにしろローカルにしろアカウント削除したら、再度同じメールアドレス設定が出来ない。メールアドレスをキーにするなら、メールアドレスをBANするのでなく、レコード削除すべきであるが、その仕組みはない。 2) VPNで接続しているLAN間で上手く動作しない。自社製品でルーティングを縛っているか、あまり出来のよくないWebRTCライブラリに頼っているため、監視カメラ目的だけでシステムを買うと酷く使い難く落胆する。

The app almost always takes 30+ seconds to connect to the NVR, regardless of whether I am remote or on the internal LAN. That makes the doorbell camera useless. Also, I have a G3 Micro and G3 Instant that always report poor signal no matter how close my access point is to the camera. On the network controller, however, signal shows “excellent”!

I’ve been using the app for over a year now and besides the occasional glitch it just works. Previously used other “marketed to residential customers” wireless camera solutions and this app works more consistently than theirs.

Love this app.

The app was not working on the iPhone and I was having issues connecting to the console. The console stopped recording and reported the hard drive was about to fail. It’s a new 2TB hard drive. Once the updated app was installed and the hard drive was reformatted, the Protect app kept showing “Starting Protect” and once it looked like it was complete it would go into a vicious reboot cycle with Protect. All cameras had to be reassigned to the console and had to be renamed. The app is not stable at this point at ver 3.0.26. I’ve restarted the console several times and still have no success. Running Network ver 8.1.127 with console ver 3.2.12.

This app is the worst. Half the time it launches to the console selection screen when I only have one Protect app running (disabled on UDM, STOP SHOWING IT). The other half it launches deep into the app where I was last time and I have to press back 10 times to get to the main screen. Then other times it just refuses to actually load the streams. How hard is it to just launch to my live camera views every time??? 9 times out of 10 someone rings a doorbell and by the time I can actually get the app to show me who is there, they would be gone. Kinda makes the doorbell camera pointless.

PLEASE add HomeKit integration.

i initially made a one star review in order to get supports attention to an issue with Protect where video streams may start and then get greyed out. i did not get much help from support but ultimately figured out it was NordVPN clobbering the video stream. if you are having an issue with video streams not starting or being grayed out shortly after starting try turning off the VPN. Protect works great and with the new AI functions was able to pull a facial image off the side of a truck! Logging vehicle tags and facial images really is quite the enhancement with the new AI cameras!

Love the products and the App with one exception. Could you PLEASE add the ability to easily pause notifications for a customizable period of time? I turn the notifications off when my wife is gardening or the lawn service is working and forget to turn it back on. Please!
