UniFi Protect

If a camera detects a movement outdoor and there is a burglar at 3 am while you are at sleep you want your Protect app to sound a real alarm, not a generic notification sound used for email or text notifications you can barely hear. Most of basic iOS apps allow users to select custom sounds for app notifications. Step 1 The most basic functionality is allowing the user to set own alert sound. Step 2 This should be the extended with different sounds depending on the time of the day eg. 00.00 am - 06.00 am - Alarm Sound 06.00 am - 00.00 am Any Notification Sound Step 3 Add an option to choose notification/alert sound depending on the detect object (person, car, animal etc - object detection list already supported by the app). Please prioritize this support on iOS.

Works great! Would like a some kind of function to mark a place in the timeline for future reference.

This app only works if you - does not run a local only implementation, - does not run VPN, or - does not want or can not use cloud services, then this app does not work. So if you run it in a company with strict security polices that does not allow cloud services for high integrity applications then you can not use Unifi Protect app. It does not allow you to run the app against a local address if you run VPN. It only works if the images runs through Ubiquiti company servers. Note that means that if Ubiquiti are compromised then your images are available to an attacker.

Unusable on appletv. When pressing up and down on the remote, you are suppose to navigate between detections. Instead, the app jumps about 15 minutes, which means you cannot go to the detections. Quite incredible that the most important feature is not implemented

Notifications doesn’t work. I have it set on always but my iPhone doesn’t notify when the cameras detects motion at all. This is the most vital thing for a security system. Crazy!! And also, I have been asking the developers to fix the camera microphone bug for a long time but they do not seem to care! Now I discovered that I’m not able to change the infrared settings in the iOS app. It doesn’t save the settings when I go back to see if it got saved. When I open the app and chose one of my cameras, I can hear the sound from the camera microphone, even though I have turned the sound off (the icon has a line crossed over the speaker icon). I then have to turn off the sound by tapping the speaker icon twice on every camera. So many bugs in UniFi (Un)Protect, it’s mad!!!

Funkar klockrent lätt att använda. Har de viktigaste funktionerna tillhands hela tiden i mobilen. Är jätte nöjd

Geobased notifications not working!!

Really like the app but please add so it’s possible to access the nvr locally for those who prefer that!

Mitt internet är nere och då går det inte att se kamerorna fast de är på samma Wi-Fi och anslutningen säger Direct.
