Registration process:
YONO is supported on iOS 11 and above.
Ø Install/Update new version of App from App Store and open.
Ø Allow all required permission (location).
Ø Select SIM of CBS Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and submit NEXT.
Ø An encrypted SMS with a unique code will be sent from the device to a pre-defined Number 7718965316 to verify the customer. Kindly note that for sending the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable as per your telecom plan. The SIM should have active outgoing SMS facility.
Ø If there are multiple CIFs attached with same mobile number, system will prompt for the account number and DOB for finding out a unique customer by the mobile number.
Ø If the customer is already having online banking facility of SBI, App will automatically prompt to proceed to Register on YONO with existing user credentials (Online Banking User ID and Password). After entering User ID and Password, customer will receive an OTP on Registered Mobile Number. User has to enter the OTP in the app to complete registration with an optional setting of MPIN.
Ø If the existing SBI customer is not having Online banking credentials, App will prompt to proceed to create INB credential using “Account Details” and “ATM Card” based registration process.
Ø If Non RMN SIM is selected, User will land on account opening screen. If customer claims that selected SIM is already registered with bank, user needs to visit nearest branch with KYC for updating/validating the mobile number in bank account.

Not able to register on YONO Apple app

Hi YONO app is not working on Apple iOS 17.1 onwards I tried to register multiple time as being an existing customer and sms did not go through ever and I tried few months earlier also but sounds like no one fixed it Am based in australia

Doesn’t work with international mob

Doesn’t work with international mobile numbers.

Doesn’t work with Australian Numbers

The app is unable to verify using an Australian phone number, despite it being the only registered number with SBI. While the web platform functions smoothly with the phone number, the app encounters issues.

App not working for NRI

I read many reviews from NRI since last year regarding app not working for sms verification. SBI did not care about NRI customer as it’s still not resolved. I hope SBI look after their NRI account as well. Thanks

Cannot register

Very frustrating, ‘message cannot be sent’ from overseas on overseas mobile number. Should have alternate registration process or message should be sent from SBI’s end to registered costumers like other major bank overseas. Also SBI YONO app need lot of improvements and app should be simple to use.

Waste of time.

Yono both not working after replacing my handset.

Registration failed

Can’t register using my overseas mobile phone number although the same is registered with the bank.

Simple things are hard with this bank

Worst service, worst net banking app, worst ATM’s.
