Registration process:
YONO is supported on iOS 11 and above.
Ø Install/Update new version of App from App Store and open.
Ø Allow all required permission (location).
Ø Select SIM of CBS Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and submit NEXT.
Ø An encrypted SMS with a unique code will be sent from the device to a pre-defined Number 7718965316 to verify the customer. Kindly note that for sending the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable as per your telecom plan. The SIM should have active outgoing SMS facility.
Ø If there are multiple CIFs attached with same mobile number, system will prompt for the account number and DOB for finding out a unique customer by the mobile number.
Ø If the customer is already having online banking facility of SBI, App will automatically prompt to proceed to Register on YONO with existing user credentials (Online Banking User ID and Password). After entering User ID and Password, customer will receive an OTP on Registered Mobile Number. User has to enter the OTP in the app to complete registration with an optional setting of MPIN.
Ø If the existing SBI customer is not having Online banking credentials, App will prompt to proceed to create INB credential using “Account Details” and “ATM Card” based registration process.
Ø If Non RMN SIM is selected, User will land on account opening screen. If customer claims that selected SIM is already registered with bank, user needs to visit nearest branch with KYC for updating/validating the mobile number in bank account.

Doesnt work and not even allow to registration

Was happy to use old app, was working for NRE accounts, with Yono it’s not even going beyond registration, must have attempted many times to contact SBI branch to resolve this last 2 years but no luck. What a pity that basic app doesn’t work for NRE customers.

Not a great app

Hate the concept of authenticating device Registration process, mostly won’t work and takes ISD charges for myself whenever attempted abroad, given the app doesn’t work internationally straightforward.

Never able to register from abroad

I have tried no of times to register from abroad with the new app , I always get technical error , try again latter, I have already spent 1000’s of rupees of my mobile bill, Why cannot you have simple registration process using OTP

Pathetic app from pathetic bank

The bank is no doubt worst in the world and what more can you expect from the app itself. Been trying to register for my account after installing the app since forever , every single time it shows technical error. Raised a caee request with customer service team, no result. Better to stay away from such a low grade banking service.

Transfer to other bank account

Hi I’m an OCI and I am facing issues with the app to transfer money from my NRE account to other NRE account through YONO app so please fix the problem or update your app with NRI service. Thanks.

SIM registration for NRIs doesn’t work

tried sending sms multiple times but timed out each time with Error 500 technical error. Try again later. Have given up!

I’m an NRI Customer. Now a days the app is crashing and every time I need to register and generate password

It’s not working after update

It was working fine before but after update it’s totally stopped working and crashing every time I’m trying to log in.
