Unable to register
Unable to register using foreign mobile number that is there in SBI records. From other reviews, I can see that people have complained about this 1 year before. Note: Yono lite app registration worked with same mobile number!

Registration process:
YONO is supported on iOS 11 and above.
Ø Install/Update new version of App from App Store and open.
Ø Allow all required permission (location).
Ø Select SIM of CBS Registered Mobile Number (RMN) and submit NEXT.
Ø An encrypted SMS with a unique code will be sent from the device to a pre-defined Number 7718965316 to verify the customer. Kindly note that for sending the SMS standard SMS charges are applicable as per your telecom plan. The SIM should have active outgoing SMS facility.
Ø If there are multiple CIFs attached with same mobile number, system will prompt for the account number and DOB for finding out a unique customer by the mobile number.
Ø If the customer is already having online banking facility of SBI, App will automatically prompt to proceed to Register on YONO with existing user credentials (Online Banking User ID and Password). After entering User ID and Password, customer will receive an OTP on Registered Mobile Number. User has to enter the OTP in the app to complete registration with an optional setting of MPIN.
Ø If the existing SBI customer is not having Online banking credentials, App will prompt to proceed to create INB credential using “Account Details” and “ATM Card” based registration process.
Ø If Non RMN SIM is selected, User will land on account opening screen. If customer claims that selected SIM is already registered with bank, user needs to visit nearest branch with KYC for updating/validating the mobile number in bank account.

Phone number validation fails
The updated YONO app fails to login due to new registration of sending SMS from the registered mobile number, though the SMS sent from the registered mobile number from the abroad. I have tried several times but never succeeded instead paid international SMS charge.
Bad validation in the name of security
I am not able to login to app due to SMS validation. I am abroad and not able to send SMS. This should not be requirement for login to app. Previous version of internet banking app, SBI anywhere was best in user experience , this yono is worst.
Fire developers!
One of the largest banks in India and can’t even make a proper app. I live abroad and my number is registered but after I sent SMS, SBI couldn't verify it.
Unvearable performance
The app is horribly slow and requires long waiting for every event. I hardly could complete a transaction
