Member since 2021, refusal to refund my annual subscription that was recently charged by my mistake. I have not used the service at all this year. I would have rejoined in the future, because it is a quality app. I see that they don’t value longer term customers.
My subscription ended 12/3 and was not renewed. On 12/4 I was charged $72 for no reason. Double the rate I was paying for the app. Of course there is no apparent way to contest the charge. Be wary of this app as they will rip you off if you ever cancel it.
I canceled my subscription shortly after purchasing nearly a year ago. It auto renewed. Recently. There was no communication from the company prior to renewal. I was charged and contacted the company the next day. They refused to issue a refund. There is no indication that I have an active subscription on my phone but it was autopay through PayPal. Now I have to dispute through PP to get a refund. Terrible customer service. Beware!!
Love the concept & content in this app, really like it as more of a newbie with yoga, but can tell it would also be great for more experienced people & their customer service was phenomenal when I needed assistance!
I have had this app for 3 years. I was not going to renew this year and thought I had turned of the renewal. No big deal if it had charged the subscription I’ve paid for 3 years of 29.99 instead it was over 70$ with no notice it was being increased. I have cancelled it now and contacted customer service only to be told -sorry about that but nothing we can do. Before now I would have recommended this app. I only stoped using it to try another for a year. But now it feels kind of shady especially since nothing new has been added in quite awhile
Check the other negative comments! They know their cancelation process is awful and they will refuse to refund! I’ve been paying them for 3 years and only used the app for a week before I decided it wasn’t for me. Every year I’ve cancelled through the app thinking that’s all I had to do but you have to email them or apparently that doesn’t count. If you download it be prepared to be stuck with the payments!!!
They charged me for a two year renewal without so much as a reminder email, refused a refund and told me they would cancel any further renewals but said I would still have access to the account for ONE year (when I was charged for TWO). If they look at my history, it’s clear I haven’t used their app for a very long time. Disgusting business practices.
I downloaded this app long ago, and canceled the subscription on my phone. However, I was charged for another year with no warning because I didn’t email them directly. They are also unwilling to refund me even though I do not want a year of access and haven’t used it. They are stealing.
I inadvertently subscribed to a 3 year membership. My membership was set up for auto-renew by default which I missed and didn’t click off. One hour after my credit card was charged for annual auto-renewal yesterday (December 18, 2024), I cancelled my subscription and requested a refund. Asana responded and told me they would not refund me because the auto renew was not cancelled prior to the charge. This goes against all subscription and membership industry standards. I am very displeased.
