Never seems to work. Locks up. Can’t open files from it or save files to it. Have iPhone 16 with latest iOS and still rubbish.

It keeps scrolling up randomly

Every time I try to open the files app, my phone screen goes black, so I can’t access files on my phone.

I am not one to make reviews all that often; but in this instance, I am too frustrated to not write one. I have been using an iPad Pro 12.9” with an Apple Pencil 2nd Generation to do a bulk of my work — both professionally and personally. This has been happening more often than not: when I am handwriting in a .pdf, the file itself will “spaz” out and reload itself, removing previously written notes/work, leaving about 3–5 minutes of work permanently lost. I am beyond disappointed with this as I believed that Apple would be one of the “innovators” of these sorts of things, not leaving trivial issues/bugs like this in their deployed application. Maybe(?) one day this issue will be resolved, but today, I will be using alternative methods to prevent myself from losing important work/notes

So I use this app to review the footage and save footage on my camera, and now it decided to just not work properly, when I click on something, it just freezes and goes back to iCloud Drive files even though I didn’t select that.

every time i try to literally just use a file it crashes my whole phone

Why the actual F*** the notification of YOUR IPHONE CANNOT BE BACKED UP doesn’t disappear when I have ALMOST 3GB FREE and I just back up the phone. Are you kidding me? Files are not working either because it said I don’t have enough space
