Create a Home
When setting up a Wyze account ‘Create a Home’, the first page setup doesnt work and wont let me do it. Also the first sentence of the prompt is terribly written.

Don’t buy subscription through Apple
Paid for a subscription through Apple Store that did nothing. Had to call support and they told me to cancel my subscription and buy it again through their website, as my camera would not work or register my subscription
Camera connection
Not to impressed. Worked fine for a month then won’t connect. Have many other devices on this wifi network with no issues
Wyze eliminated access on ios 12
Downloading old version denies login to account or making a new account sonI can’t use any of the cameras anymore. So if you buy their cameras you will eventually be denied the use of them after spending hundreds of dollars.
Chime isn’t reliable
I have to continually reprogram the chime. I’ve tried different locations with and without the update and it still needs a reboot or total wipe. I find it flashing red blue or red. It lasted a week once usually 6 hours average. It has neat features but it just isn’t dependable.
Doorbell chime won’t work
This is a know bug and there are posts on the forums of this going on for years: the original Wyze doorbell cam has a plug in chime. That chime’s schedule resets its schedule to a 1 minute timeframe so it won’t ring the doorbell for the other 1339 minutes per day. You can reset it, and a day or two later it’s broken again. I’ve brought this up with Wyze’s technical support and they weren’t helpful at all. Very frustrated!
Misses the mark
Camera quality is fine but it misses the mark all the time. Shoes that there’s movement but by the time it turns on to capture a picture the subject is gone. Defeats the purpose. And you have to pay for a subscription in order for it to capture videos and turn on in time to catch the movement which sucks. Only reason I’m not getting rid of it is so I can look outside to see if packages have arrived and who’s standing at the door knocking.
