Body Groove On Demand

I’ve been using Body Groove to exercise for some time. I love the workouts and would highly recommend. They’re full of energy, and there is enough variety that you can pick what suits you, from easy and low energy to more full-on dancing that gets your heart pumping. Plus it works your whole body, the dances are easy to follow, and you can do them your own way. The app can be frustrating. An update last year prevented me from mirroring it to my Apple TV. When I switched to using my iPad, the recent update reorganized the videos, which made the ones I like harder to find, the videos wouldn’t switch orientation to match the orientation of my device until I pressed play and full screen, making it hard to find and select a video when everything was sideways, and then an error prevented me from playing the videos unless I downloaded them. But that hasn’t detracted from the content. I love Misty and the other dance instructors. They bring a sense of fun to exercising, which I really needed. It’s my go to app for exercise.

I paid for a YEAR online and can’t transfer it to my TV. Sent Help an email and never heard from them. I can’t dance to tiny videos on my phone. So poor tech, poor tech support. My money wasted!

I subscribed twice with 2 different email addresses. The App does not recognize my subscriptions. Impossible to reset the account or the password. I have contacted the support who cannot help with the app and advised to directly contact Apple support. Ugh.. I am very disappointed but will choose another program.

5 stars! I’ve just joined the team Sunday and am enjoying every move I’ve made these last 3 days! I had the CD tapes for about 2 years would do them off and on didn’t really get bored but am glad to have the variety now! I’m hoping to to make improvements with the new dances I get! Thank you!

I absolutely love dancing. I was looking for a good exercise dance app to satisfy both my desire to dance and need to exercise. I google searched best dance apps, checked out a few, definitely not what I was looking for then I stumbled on Body Groove. I watched the intro video and was immediately hooked. I love the free expression. The variety of music and moves. How everyone is just moving around the floor with their own style and groove. I immediately got the app and I just finished two of the “Workout of the day”. I had a blast. I am sweeting and smiling after having so much fun. I can’t wait for tomorrow.

I have been watching Body Groove reels on Instagram for over a year and wishing I could join. My schedule, working two jobs plus parenting, was packed and my internet was spotty. Fast forwards a year, and a cross country move, and getting myself down to ONE JOB, and now having great internet and I JOINED! It was a REALLY big day for me when I finally got to a point where I could sign up. And was it a hoax? NOPE!!!! It took me a few minutes to sign up and upload it on my phone and Roku. You all Body Groove is the FUN I have been missing in my life! It is moving and great music and body love! All the way! It’s also guided meditations during my lunch break on the app on my phone! It’s relaxing yoga at night before I go to bed and then again when I get up! It’s seeing what’s up with the dance of the day or checking out a program. It’s Grooving with my wife at the end of a long week to Be Happy! It’s my kid coming down the stairs when I’m in full Groove and being happy for me because my joy is contagious! It’s going on the Facebook page and seeing what’s up and celebrating with other Groovers! Now, I can’t wait to get home and groove - I am dancing again! With dancers who do not trigger my disordered eating! It’s community! And now, tonight, I’m realizing I need this in my life and I’m looking at signing up to go through the learning process of becoming a groove instructor! Still looking, but it could very well happen! I hope this review is helpful for any other 45 year old mom and preschool teacher who is watching the reels and feeling intrigued, but skeptical. It’s really as awesome as it looks and sounds!

I do not like to exercise but starting my day with body groove starts each day off right. I love to dance. The positivity of the leaders sets my day on the right track. Thank you for this program.

I love to dance, but I don’t love to exercise so when I saw the ad I was super excited. Happily paid the membership fee and got started integrating it into my daily routine. Had trouble getting it onto the TV which was a factor in my decision. Reached out to technical support. I got no response. After a few days the joints in my hips were not happy with my decision. Was limping for a few days. So if you do try this, to take it slow. I decided this app wasn’t for me so I attempted to get my refund. According to the ad they give you a generous trial period, but again I never heard from anybody. Apparently the owner doesn’t pay any attention to the messages. I replied to emails, I went on the Facebook page and left a message, and I even tried calling a number I found, but got nowhere. Contacted my credit card company and was able to get it refunded. The company didn’t respond to my credit card company either so eventually I got my refund. I wouldn’t bother with this app unless you’re are able to use it from your iPhone. The technology team is nonexistent. Other than that I love the idea, the passion, vision behind it, the videos are great and they’re so much versatility. The music is wonderful. It’s really a great app, she just dropped the ball on supporting the customer after purchase.
